About the home

The Beauty of having a penthouse apartment is we have terraces to the front & rear of the building affording us beautiful sea views from the front & the opportunity to watch the sun rise.
This complex is situated in one of the best areas in Altinkum. Just opposite the 5 Star Hotel (Garden of Sun).

150 metres to the 3rd Beach and 400 metres to what will be one of the biggest Marina's in Turkey. Every 5 minutes there is a bus service (dolmus)to the town centre (Altinkum) and the main beach, restaurants & bars are only a ten minute stroll away

Our Apartment was completed at the end of August 2008 to a high standard & the complex currently has a pool, Jacuzzi, childs pool & chill out bar.

20% deposit will be taken at booking point to secure your dates the balance being due 4 weeks before departure along with a returnable £100 security bond

Long Stay Discount is available on stays 21 nights or more - 10% reduction on the weekly rates.

Late Deals - Book within two weeks of departure and we will give you a 5% discount on the weekly rates.

Early booking - book over 12 months in advance - 10% discount on the weekly rates.

The Aegean Coast region

The Aegean coast has long hot and dry summers and mild winters. In summer temperatures can reach into the 40s and with the cooling sea breezes offers the perfect holiday climate for those looking for sun, sea and sand!
There are many places of interest in the region to suit every taste - historical sites galore, the most famous of which is the ancient city Ephesus,dating back almost 8000 years and under excavation for the last 110, the city is the size of Manchester and remarkably intact.
Beautiful Bafa Lake, a bird watchers paradise with many nesting sites for rare species, the mud baths of Dalyan, Turtle Beach, Pammukale, quaint winemaking villages and a host of other sights to see all within easy reach of Altinkum. For retail therapy there is the cosmopolitan town of Bodrum with numerous shopping centres and arcades as well as an ancient castle and a large marina. Kusadasi is just one hour away and boasts one of the largest marinas in the region with luxury cruise liners mooring regularly

The Altinkum area

Altinkum is a friendly family resort with many visitors returning year after year. The local people are friendly and love the English tourists. You will get to know them quickly and they enjoy nothing better than chatting over a glass of Turkey's famous 'apple tea'. Don’t be surprised if you return year after year to visit your new found friends!

The holiday resort of Altinkum has also been recommended by World Health Council because of its lovely climate, low rate of humidity and lovely sand. Altinkum is also a good place to visit for those suffering from asthma.

Altinkum / Didim is a quiet resort, that comes to life at night with plenty of wonderful restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and cuisines. Some offer traditional Turkish evenings with belly dancers,dancing troupes and other entertainments. For the more lively, there are several dance clubs and bars in the resort, the best of which is the Medusa open air Colosseum which plays disco music into the early hours.

The harbour offers boat trips to local islands and coves and there are ferries to Bodrum and the Greek island of Kos. For a fun day out there is the the Didim aquapark which has its own regular bus service.

Altinkum, Didim is located between two international airports - Bodrum and Izmir, and is accessible 12 months of the year. Bodrum airport is approximately a 75 minutes drive and Izmir airport is approximately a 90 minute drive. Airport transfers can be arranged.

Flights into Izmir and Bodrum airports can be found from many different airlines. Please enquire for a list of useful travel operators and websites should you need any help finding flights.

Range of flights available to Bodrum airport, Aegean flights, Holidays4u,Goldtrail, Skybargains. Also during main season Thomsons flights and Thomas Cook.

Car Hire is possible from both airports through AVIS rent-a-car or alternatively, you can rent-a-car for a part of your holiday from a travel operator in Altinkum. You will need a full valid UK driving licence to hire a car in Turkey
