The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The costa blanca offers all round sunshine and a warm climate. Very little rainfall affects this region which makes the Costa Blanca an ideal all year round resort favoured by all ages. The cosmopolitan City of Alicante is just 45 minutes by car and has a fantastic port area and the spectacularly tiled Esplanada, favoured in the afternoons by the locals who sit and watch the people pass by. The Santa Barbara castle is wonderfully lit at night and is host to the many firework displays to mark fiestas and celebtations throughout the year. A fabulous marina with yachts and visiting cruise ships can be found and typically spanish tapas bars serving excellent local food. The resort of Albir just 10 minutes by car south of this property, or it can be walked via the promenades, has a lovely sandy beach and the town of Altea has a picturesque old town with white washed houses and a beautiful old church nestled amongst antique, craft and art shops. The nearby and lively resort of Benidorm is a year round favourite for all ages, it has everything to offer from fantastic restaurants offering the days catch from the fishing boats, great shopping, professional entertainment and Blue Flag award winning beaches. Moving inland from this property there are superb mountainside towns to be explored, steeped in history, waterfalls, and the orange and lemon groves that spring up on the roadsides.


Altea / Altea Hills area

Altea itself is a typically spanish town with white washed houses in the old town and a fantastic church and town square surrounded by restaurants, cafe bars, shops selling local crafts and paintings and wonderful views. A beautiful place to wander around, take in the views and explore the narrow cobbled streets. There is a long promenade to the beach which is lined with restaurants and cafés. And in the town you will also find plenty of supermarkets, banks and wonderful shops and boutiques. Altea Hills is a short distance out of the town of Altea. Its elevated position means there are spectacular views, especially at night. The on site 5* Melia Hotel offers, sports and leisure facilities as well as bars and restaurants. We are able to organise any activity that you need from balloon flights, helicopter rides, jeep safari, quad bike hire, bicycles, jet skiing, nordik walking and paint ball .............. just tell us what you require.

Nearest airport Alicante, take the AP7 motorway to junction 64 (approximately 45 mintues) the property is approximately 10 mintues from junction 64 following the signs to Calpe on the N332. Alternatively take a train from Alicante station heading North and the nearest station is Altea or Calpe, you will need to take a short taxi drive from this station. An airport transfer taking you door to door can be arranged from 60€ for 4 people including luggage. We can also arrange daily or weekly car rental

This great apartment is brand new for the 2008/2009 season. Located in a beautifully elevated position, the apartment has great sea views. The entrance hallway leads to all rooms. The kitchen is well fitted with all appliances and has a comfortable breakfast area with table and 4 chairs. There is also a separate utility room. The lounge is beautifully furnished wth corner sofa, large flat screen TV and dining table seating 6 people. Large sliding doors open to a lovely terrace which is also furnished. The master bedroom has en-suite bathroom and built in wardrobes. Large floor to ceiling glass windows allow great views while lying in bed and there is also access to the terrace from this room. The second bedroom has twin beds and built in wardrobes and there is also a family shower room.

Further details outdoors:
The large glass sliding doors open from the lounge to this lovely large terrace. Very nicely furnished with large dining table and seating for 6 makes this space ideal for Al Fresco dining any time of the year. The views to the sea are great and there are also wonderful views of the mountains. There is secure parking and access to a lovely communal swimming pool with plenty of space to soak up the sun.

Please note. Highchair, cot, puschair and other children's equipment are availalbe at this property but must be pre-booked. You must also pre-book, hairdryer, safe, boating excursions and bicycle hire if required. We cal also offer you welcome food hampers, special occasion chocolates and flowers, airport transfers, car hire, mid week cleaning and laundry changes, trips and sightseeing tours and much much more. Please ask us for information on the service you need to make your holiday perfect.


Conditions

Smokers are welcome but we request that you restrict yourselves to smoking on the terraces.
A 20% (250 euro minimum)deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance payable within 8 weeks of the start of your holiday. A 250€ damage deposit will also be required. All linen and towels are included. There will be a small departure clean and laundry charge, please ask for details.

Yes, we enjoyed staying in Benidorm and liked staying in the apartment very much. We hope to be out to Benidorm again soon, and the apartment we stayed in is very handy for Carrefour, Levante, etc. Hopefully we will be in touch again soon.
