Alteanatura is 2km from Altea la Vella and 7km from Altea itself, on the northern Costa Blanca. It is situated in a privileged area, in a great natural setting next to the Altea and Bernia mountains, 15km from the town of Benidorm. Alteanatura is surrounded by typical Mediterranean scenery with abundant pine trees and next to a 9-hole golf course and only 7km from the sea.

Alteanatura also features an exclusively designed private club house completely equipped with a heated indoor swimming pool, a gym, a sauna, a jacuzzi and an enclosure area for meetings and other social events.

In Alteanatura’s surroundings you will find numerous beautiful beaches and coves: Playa de la Olla, Cala de la Barra, Playa del Mascarat, Cala de la Barreta, Cala del Soio, Playa de Cap Negret, Playa de la Roda, Playa de Cap Blanc and La Solsida (nudist beach).

The <i>Mediterranean Cuisine</i> has been practised by the people of Altea since time immemorial. Rice dishes, sea food, fish and the produce of the market garden of Altea constitute the basis of the gastronomy of Altea. Paella with fresh anchovies, backed rice, <i>paella marinera</i>, <i>arròs a banda</i> and <i>caldero</i> are only some examples of the typical local dishes.

We recommend you to go for a quiet stroll around Altea’s old quarter. Above the Calle Mayor you come out on to the Nuestra Señora del Consuelo Church with its proud, symbolic dome covered in blue and white glazed ceramic tiles. In addition, in the Villa Gadea – Unesco International Music Centre, and in the Palau de les Arts you will find a whole range of cultural events and activities for your delight.

Going over the festive calendar, first of all we find the main fiestas in honour of the Cristo de la Salut (from 20th January to 5th February), in Altea la Vella. These are followed, at the end of February, by the prestigious Carnival festivities, which have become famous throughout the region, and Easter Week, one of the most deeply-rooted cultural and religious expressions. The fishermen’s fiesta in honour of Sant Pere and the Verge del Carme (16th June). During the fiestas of Sant Llorenç (12th to 14th August), the Castell de l´Olla takes place, an internationally renowned firework display with music, both on land and in the sea. During the last week of September, the main fiestas in honour of the Santíssim Crist del Sagrari and Sant Blai (patron saint of the town), with the traditional Moors and Christians celebration (21st to 24th September), take place. Finally, in Altea la Vella, a procession takes place in honour of La Puríssima on the 8th of December.

These infrastructures allow easy access to Alteanatura and offer you the possibility to undertake numerous excursions.
