Home description

Our lovely 2 bedroom apartment is located in an elevated position with fabulous sea views as well as views to the mountains behind. Close to the towns of Altea with its picturesque old town and also close to Calpe, both offering lovely beaches, shopping, sea food restaurants, boutiques and art and craft shops. Mascarat itself, just a small pueblo has a lovely port area, beach and nice walks.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The costa blanca offers all round sunshine and a warm climate. Very little rainfall affects this region which makes the Costa Blanca an ideal all year round resort favoured by all ages. The cosmopolitan City of Alicante is just 45 minutes by car and has a fantastic port area and the spectacularly tiled Esplanada, favoured in the afternoons by the locals who sit and watch the people pass by. The Santa Barbara castle is wonderfully lit at night and is host to the many firework displays to mark fiestas and celebtations throughout the year. A fabulous marina with yachts and visiting cruise ships can be found and typically spanish tapas bars serving excellent local food. The resort of Albir just 10 minutes by car south of this property, or it can be walked via the promenades, has a lovely sandy beach and the town of Altea has a picturesque old town with white washed houses and a beautiful old church nestled amongst antique, craft and art shops. The nearby and lively resort of Benidorm is a year round favourite for all ages, it has everything to offer from fantastic restaurants offering the days catch from the fishing boats, great shopping, professional entertainment and Blue Flag award winning beaches. Moving inland from this property there are superb mountainside towns to be explored, steeped in history, waterfalls, and the orange and lemon groves that spring up on the roadsides.


Altea / Pueblo Mascarat area

Mascarat is a lovely port area, a selection of restaurants and shops can be found around the port itself. There is also another just a short walk from the property with stunning views of the sea. Located close to Altea and Calpe, it would be a shame to not visit these lovely towns while you are staying. Altea itself is a typically spanish town with white washed houses in the old town and a fantastic church and town square surrounded by restaurants, cafe bars, shops selling local crafts and paintings and wonderful views. Calpe is a few kilometres North and offers a wide range of shopping and entertainment. The famous landmark rock, Peñon de Ifach dominates the harbour area where you will find seafood restaurants selling the days catch. We are able to organise any activity that you need from balloon flights, helicopter rides, jeep safari, quad bike hire, bicycles, jet skiing, nordik walking and paint ball .............. just tell us what you require.

Nearest airport Alicante, take the AP7 motorway to junction 64 (approximately 45 mintues) the property is approximately 10 mintues from junction 64 following the signs to Altea on the N332. Alternatively take a train from Alicante station heading North and the nearest station is Altea, you will need to take a short taxi drive from this station. An airport transfer taking you door to door can be arranged as can daily or weekly car rental

This lovely apartment is beautifully furnished in a modern luxurious style. Double doors from the hallway lead to a spacious lounge with dining area and sliding doors lead out to the terrace. The main bedroom has fitted wardrobes and en-suite facilities and the second bedroom has twin beds, wardrobes and doors leading to the terrace. There is a good sized family bathroom and spacious fitted kitchen with separate utility area. The terrace is a good size with table and chairs and loungers. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for your holiday.

Further details outdoors:
The terrace is accessed from the lounge and second bedroom and overlooks the communal swimming pool. The sea views are stunning, either looking towards Calpe or down the coast to the skyline of Benidorm. There is secure underground parking. The communal gardens are inviting with lots of room for soaking up the sun and the communal swimming pool is large.

Conditions

A 20% (250 euro minimum) deposit is required to secure your booking with the balance payable within 4 weeks of the start of your holiday. A 250€ damage deposit will also be required. All linen and towels are included although a small fee will be charged for cleaning and laundry on your departure. Please ask us for details.
