House in Altea, Alicante - Costa Blanca, Spain. Located in the luxury 5 Star Altea Hills Resort, Renters can use the fantastic hotel leisure facilities (some fees payable locally). There are 2 communal swimming pools, free of charge for our guests. In addition, there are three beautiful outdoor swimming pools at the hotel (fees payable locally). The house which is 2 minutes walk from the hotel has both partial sea and mountain views.
Accommodation: Downstairs - fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge with Digital Satellite TV, DVD/CD Player, Air-conditioning in the living room. 1 bedroom (twin beds) and full bathroom. Upstairs 2 bedrooms(Main with Double Bed, second with twin beds)1 full bathroom. Main bedroom has private balcony with sea and mountain views.
Outside are covered and open terrace areas and a small grass area. There are two communal swimming pools, one beside and one behind the house, free for our guests' use. Altea Hills is arguably the finest luxury resort on the Costa Blanca nestling in a mountainside location facing south with panoramic views over Altea Bay.
The Hotel's sub-tropical gardens with lagoon swimming pools are absolutely spectacular. There is a top-class Mediterranean restaurant with open-air terrace. There is a gym, indoor pool, sauna, tennis and Health Club (fees payable locally). There is 24 Hour security.

Beautiful sea-views from Altea Hills, with partial sea and mountain views from own balcony. This is one of the most beautiful bays on the Mediterranean.
A beautiful yacht club and Marina lies below the resort, with magnificent mountains behind the property. Clear blue skies are the norm here.
The Altea / Altea Hills area
The historic town of Altea is 3 kms away. There are numerous restaurants, shops and art galleries. It has a palm-lined promenade and marina. The church square in the old town is very impressive with its blue dome glistening in the sunlight.
Golf - A 5 minute drive brings you to the Don Cayo Club (+34 965848046), a 9 hole course (buggies for hire). There are other Golf Courses in the area.
A 20 minute drive brings you to Benidorm which has 3 Theme Parks, Terra Mitica (Thrill Rides), Mundomar (Dolphin Shows), Aqualandia (Water Slides etc). There is a great cabaret (nightly in high season) at The Benidorm Palace.

the house was in a gated community just outside Altea near Benidorm. We had no difficulty finding the property thanks to the prompt, acurate and helpful communication we had received from the owners prior to departure. The house consists of a large lounge with t.v, sattelite box, dvd player (with a selection of dvds), i pod dock, local information about days out, restaurants etc. A small kitchen with all the equipment anyone could ask for including a washing machine. A downstairs bathroom and bedroom which looked as though they would be suitable for disabled guests. Upstairs were two further bedrooms one with a balcony, and another bathroom. Fans, iron and board, and everything we needed were all provided. We had use of a small pool near to the house which was clean and well maintained. There was also the option to use the facilities at the Altea Hills Hotel (for a charge) although we did not use these. We enjoyed a lovely holiday at this property and would definately stay there again. The owners have obviously thought about what visitors would like and have made every effort to make guests welcome. A car is a must due to the location. |

The booking process for this property was easy due to the quick and acurate responses to our questions prior to departure. Great customer service!
This lovely house is quite high in the mountains above Altea but we had no problems finding it due to the great directions we were given by the owners. The house was spotlessly clean and well maintained with plenty of kitchen eqipment (which was not really needed as they had also left a list of good local restaurants) and everything that we could possibly need. The web site description was acurate.
While we were there we visited Altea (lovely old town, clean modern beach area, Vallencia (modern harbour, lovely lod town) Calpe and Benidorm.
The lagoon pools at the hotel looked lovely, but due to poor weather we prefered to use the little pool near the house. This was clean and well maintained and we always had it all to ourselves which our children (7, 10 & 12) loved. We would recomend the property to most people but due to its location I think that a car would be essential, We would happily stay there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Altea Hills, the description of the property was spot on - the owner had provided us with a complete guide and map of how to get to the property from the airport - and a guide of the local area - so we were totally prepared for our holiday. The house was spotless and the location was perfect - 10 mins from Calpe's fabulous sandy beaches and 5 mins from the breathtaking Greenwich Marina and Altea. We would definately go back to this property - our party consisted of 2 adults and 3 children ranging in age from 15 to 9 years - there was enough to keep everyone entertained. Our favourite restaurant was in the old town, restaurante des artistes - excellent. We will recommend this to our friends and family.
