This contemporary penthouse is frontline, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom with huge terraces, PRIVATE ROOF POOL and communal pool. It has modern luxury fittings throughout including marble floors, hydromassage tub, alfresco dining, digital TV, free Broadband WiFi, electronic door entry system and secure underground parking.
It is a 15 minute walk to the Marina and beach where you can have a relaxing drink amongst some of the £1m yachts ! The Marina has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants and offers excellent facilities for windsurfing, scuba diving (including a PADI dive centre), boat hire and fishing - ideal for families. There is a beach cove which is excellent for snorkelling directly below the penthouse with a key for access via private gate. There is also another cove around 400m away and the main beach at the marina.

The kitchen has granite worktops, twin sinks, electric oven, vitroceramic hob and stainless steel extractor hood. A washing machine and dishwasher is also fitted together with a large fridge/freezer. There is also a coffee maker and juice blender.

Enjoy those sunset evenings with a long drink on the terrace listening to the sound of the sea against the 'Morro de Toix' Natural Reserve cliffs.

Spain's Northern Costa Blanca has a mild all year round climate and an average of 320 days sunshine each year adds to the attraction. The World Health Organisation has designated this area as possessing one of the finest climates found anywhere, particularly for people with respiratory difficulties and the EU has awarded many of the beaches in the area the prestigious "blue flag" for water quality and cleanliness several years running. In addition, modern infrastructure with low crime rates and the ability to easily reach two international airports is increasing the attraction of this area for new residents as well as visitors.
The landscape of the Northern Costa Blanca is blessed with greenery year round, unlike that of the Southern Costa Blanca or Costa del Sol, with wonderful mountain vistas looking inland from the kilometres of beaches, or within the fabulous valleys, famous for their wine, (such as the increasingly popular Jalon Valley), or the abundant, but slightly higher elevation Citrus Valleys (notably of the Orba region).
The coast is dotted with unspoilt Spanish villages and resorts, popular with vacationers and residents looking for the more relaxing side of Spain and wishing to avoid mass tourism. 24/7/365 entertainment can still be found a short drive away from these towns and villages in the busy vacation resort city of Benidorm however, for those choosing to enjoy it. In addition the region boasts many established and new Golf courses, one of the biggest water parks and also Theme parks in Europe, as well as unparalleled water sports, both surface and sub-aqua, (there are some of the largest Marine Parks in Europe clustered within the boundaries of the Northern Costa Blanca, as well as good water conditions and visibility). For those wishing to "shop until they drop" apart from Benidorm's dozens of boutiques, shopping mall and pedestrian shopping areas, Alicante, and Valencia Cities both lie within and easy car ride along the coast in either direction. Valencia in particular also offers marvellous Aquarium, Museum and public attractions to the Visitor, as well as historical places of interest.
The Altea area
The penthouse is a 15 minute walk to the Marina and beach where you can have a relaxing drink amongst some of the £1m yachts ! The Marina has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants and offers excellent facilities for windsurfing, scuba diving (including a PADI dive centre), boat hire and fishing - ideal for families.
The beautiful town of Altea is a mix of both old and new, the old part has cobbled streets, white washed stone houses and a beautiful church complete with glinting blue dome roof, all set upon a tall hill. The newer part has a promenade with sea front restaurants and great coffee places to relax during the day.
Night time in the old part of Altea is entertaining with cobbled courtyards and lanes lined with galleries, lovely little shops of hand made goods, stalls run by craftspeople and some fantastic restaurants. The whole feel of the old town is busy yet romantic and relaxing.
There are several beaches: Playa del Cap Negret, Playa de la Roda, Playa del Cap Blanch, Playa del Mascarat. These are mainly sandy and quite clean. The beaches aren’t usually too busy. There are some fantastic climbing frames, slides and children’s toys, volley ball nets and small water showers all available to the public free of charge.

Local activities in the area include cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, mountaineering, paragliding, sailing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing.
In addition to Altea, there is also the town of Calpe close by. The main attraction is undoubtedly the beautiful blue flag beaches with golden sand and crystal clear water. The whole town of Calpe is dominated by the huge Peñon de Ifach, an enormous Gibraltar like rock which separates the two main beach areas of Playa la Fossa and Playa Cantal Roig.

"Just a quick note to let you know we had a wonderful time in your apartment. The views are spectacular and we spent hours watching the boats and climbers on the cliffs, so peaceful and relaxing. The apartment itself is fabulous with great decor and attention to every detail. I have been recommending it all our friends since we returned. The marina at Mascarat is probably the best we have visited along the coast, although smaller than some it has some lovely restaurants and the yacht club is a great location to enjoy a glass or two and watch the boats. I hope to come back again next year"

A deposit of 30% is required on booking. The remaining balance, plus €300 refundable security deposit, is required 8 weeks prior to arrival. The security deposit is returned 10 days from departure, less any deductions for breakages or losses. We provide bed linen, towels, tea towels & beach/pool towels. A welcome pack is included and all guests are greeted by a local representative who will show you around the apartment. SUPPLEMENTS APPLY: Final clean contribution €115, Cot & High chair available at no extra charge. Payment options are credit card (PayPal), cheque and bank transfer. Apartment will be available on day of arrival at 3pm. Vacation time on day of departure 10am.
