The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Altea / Punta de Mascarat area
Altea is a picturesque little fishing village tucked amongst the cliffs. It has a mutitude of steep narrow streets full of tempting craft shops, boutiques, bars and bougainvillea tumbling down from the blue-domed church to the attractive palm-lined esplanade. Here you can try out watersports or visit the famous Tuesday market on the seafront. Due to the spectacular scenery, it is patronised by the artistic community, which is evident in the abundance of art shops and galleries.
Mascarat Beach is located in Punta del Mascarat. The northern dike of the yacht marine shape an excellent inlet for bathing. Beach with boulders, clean waters and good sea depth for diving. Here you can also visit the Marina Altea Club Nautico.
More beautiful sandy beaches are just a 10 minute drive along the coast to Calpe, where you will also find shops, bars & resturaunts.

Refundable breakages deposit of £200 required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection). 25% of rental fee due six weeks before your stay to secure booking. Remainder to be paid no later than four weeks before arrival. There is a lift in the apartment building providing access to pool, garden & parking.
