Warm and cosy all the time, but with a log stove for chilly evenings. Plenty of logs gratis. The private garden leads on to wonderful scenery. If you bring your dog(s) the pub is a pleasant little walk away for you and them. Accommodation is spacious and immaculate. |
Guestbook for Hudgill Farm Barn
"We had 2 objectives for xmas 2010 - to be by ourselves and a white one. I'm pleased to say we got both. Jane at Hudgill was exceptionally accommodating and forthcoming with advice on getting there right up until our arrival on a snowy xmas eve. The landscape was picture perfect and the cosiness was unbeatable. The barn is great... "
"We were booked to stay elsewhere, but on arrival the pipes had frozen so we had 12 hours to find an alternative. Luckily for us, there was availability at Hudgill and we were welcomed into a spotless, comfortable and beautifully finished cottage only 4 hours after we made the initial call. Nothing was too much trouble for John and Jane,... "
"We spent 3 lovely nights in Wellhope View, which is a fantastic barn conversion on two levels. The cottage is fully equipped with every modern amenity, both bedrooms having their own ensuite facilities. The cottage is in the Eden Valley, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The views over the Cumbrian fells are fantastic. It is perfect for..."
"We booked this barn conversion as our base for walking sections of the Pennine Way. It is set in lovely, quiet and peaceful surroundings. Hosts John and Jane have converted their barn into 2 holiday cottages and provided an excellent standard of accommodation, with attention to all the little details. We had the larger of the 2, Middle Fell View,... "
