The Hibiscus House is one of the loveliest holiday villas in North Cyprus for families, for those seeking a romantic escape or nature lovers wishing to enjoy spring-time flower-strewn mountain walks from their doorstep.

With stunning, panoramic vistas of mountains and the Mediterranean, Hibiscus invites guests to completely relax by the pool or discover beaches, secret coves, mountain walks and amazing historical sites- all that North Cyprus has to offer from the comfort of this luxury air-conditioned villa.

Featuring three bedrooms (1 en suite) sleeping 2-6 people, The Hibiscus House is reassuringly well-equipped with modern facilities.

Designed for hot summers, it features a large covered downstairs terrace and first floor open balcony, approached from air conditioned bedrooms via French windows. Amidst its landscaped gardens you'll discover citrus trees, an 8 x 4m underwater lit pool, parking for two cars, a jasmine covered honey-stone pergola, sun beds, and parasols.

Additional facilities included within the price are: a Pay-as-you-go mobile phone, sunbeds, parasols, dining table for 8, sofa and armchairs on the covered terrace, coffee maker, juicer, cool bags and ice-packs for picnic trips, 3 portable fans and a simple welcome pack of water, milk, tea, coffee.

There are good holiday books, North Cyprus guidebooks, DVDs and CDs for days when you just want to laze on the terrace or by the pool.

For those guests with a baby or toddler, to save packing, Hibiscus House has a travel cot, high chair, changing mat, child plates and utensils - all included in the price.

The property managers are English and very helpful. Upgraded welcome packs, wine and additional cleaning or linen changes can be provided for a small additional charge.

In addition to the two terraces within the villa, there is a stone-built pergola with stone-topped table and cushioned wrought-iron chairs for 4-people. The large, private walled garden offers further terrace spaces on different levels in which to to sit, B-B-Q etc.

The pool terrace has six sunbeds and some parasols. The pool itself is a salt-water pool (meaning no chlorine-inflamed eyes!) and has a Roman-bay end with steps to make entrances and exits easier and more graceful!

Hibiscus has outdoor lighting and candle lanterns for guests to enjoy outdoor wining and dining after dark.

There is off-road parking for two cars (4WD car hire is recommended but not essential).

Being situated within a terraced landscaped garden the property has a number of steps and may not suit those who have difficulty walking.

The Kyrenia region

North Cyprus is worth visiting at almost any time of year. During July and August rain is almost unheard of and it can be very hot. Spring erupts in a blaze of flowers in mid-February and it is still possible to sunbathe up to the end of November.

There are plenty of beaches in North Cyprus ranging from the sophisticated to the wild and deserted.

For history lovers, there is plenty to see from magical castles such as St. Hilarian, (said to have inspired Walt Disney) and Roman mosaics, to monasteries and churches including the beautiful Bellapais Abbey.

The Alsancak area

The holiday villa sits just above the village of Alsancak, a typical North Cyprus village with plenty of traditional houses, small shops, supermaket and a wonderful range of restaurants.

It is a six minute drive to the nearest beaches and about 15-minutes drive into the picturesque harbour town of Kyrenia (Girne) with its ancient castle, bustling shops and harbour-side restaurants.

There are regular flights to Ercan airport in North Cyprus from Stansted, Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Birmingham throughout the year. We can offer advice for flight bookings and arrange car hire and airport transfers to the villa if required. Airport transfers from Ercan are free if hiring a car through us.

Alternatively, fly to Larnaca airport in South Cyprus from most main airports in the UK. Taxi prices vary and advance booking to secure a fixed price is recommended. We can arrange airport transfers to the villa from Larnaca on your behalf if required.

The Hibiscus House is just 40 minutes drive from Ercan airport and about 90 minutes from Larnaca airport.
