About the home

This distinctive villa with circular tower and vaulted wooden ceilings has distant echoes of traditional Cypriot design. Situated in a quiet cul de sac of 10 individual villas at the foot of the Besparmak mountains, White Tower Villa has spectacular sea views.

Only a 5 minute drive from the famous Escape Beach, with many stylish restaurants close by this is an ideal location from which to enjoy the many attractions of Northern Cyprus.

The villa is tastefully appointed and comprises a large open plan lounge with stone fireplace and double doors opening onto beautifully landscaped gardens, patio and raised pool area. The pergola with tiled roof and barbecue provide shaded alfresco dining. The dining kitchen has a terrace and garden area with panoramic views sloping down to the sea and overlooks a verdant ravine which provides privacy under the shade of an olive tree. There is a toilet and washbasin on the ground floor.

The curved staircase with distinctive cast iron balustrade and vaulted ceiling leads to 3 large bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large terrace with sea views, an en-suite bathroom with shower, wash basin and toilet, double bed and fitted wardrobes. The second and third twin bedrooms share the bathroom with bath, shower, wash basin and toilet. And fitted wardrobes. All bedrooms have air conditioning. There is private parking.

The Kyrenia region

North Cyprus is one of the few relatively uncommercial areas left in the Mediterranean. Its natural beauty will leave you breathless, whether it is the range of mountains running parallel to the coast or the wild flowers that grow at their best in spring. Crusader castles perch on three of the Kyrenia mountain peaks and offer views reaching far across the land and sea on a clear day. Swimming is excellent, either from maintained hotel beaches, where a minimal charge is made for use of sun-beds and umbrella, or from deserted beaches further afield in clear waters rarely seen in the Mediterranean.

With beautiful, hot sunny weather and sparkling waters, Northern Cyprus is the perfect holiday desination for all. It is tranquil and unspolit by mass tourism, yet at the same time there is something for the most adventurous traveller. Kyrenia is beautiful and calm, with white washed houses and Byzantine Castles, and during the night, the locals have a stroll and the tasteful bars and restaurants come to life.

The Alsancak area

This village has something to offer everyone with its spectacular views, authentic village atmosphere and easy access to the beaches and restaurants. There are a couple of wells-stocked mini markets for all your supplies. It is approximately 6 miles west of Kyrenia / Girne with its pretty old harbour and shops.

Located near the Escape Beach, this is the perfect area for Mediterrenean sun and white sands, sparkling calm, clean and clear waters, so snorkelling is very safe. You can be taken out in a boat with the locals and have a lovely days snorkelling. There are many fine restaurants and delicious seafood to be eaten. Try the local delicacies and most of all enjoy your relaxing holiday!

Flights into Ercan airport, the main airport serving North Cyprus. Our preferred airline is Cyprus Turkish Airlines, also known as CTA.

Alternatively, it is now possible for EU citizens to fly into Larnaca, South Cyprus and travel across the border to holiday in the North. Airlines such as British Airways and Cyprus Airways offer a varied timetable.

“Great villa in a quite location” We spent 4 weeks at the White Tower villa between the end of June and most of July 2011. The villa is beautiful and the swimming pool indispensable during the heat of summer in Cyprus. We were a couple with a baby and grandparents and we had a very nice holiday exploring the island. If you want to be independent a car is necessary, but the grocery shop is on the main street 300 meters from the house and there are little vans that serve as buses (with the advantage that they stop where you want) for going along the coast or to Nicosia. “The White Tower is a place to unwind and forget about the world outside...” We arrived at the villa in the early hours of Sunday morning. The tower was illuminated and the outside lights made the villa look inviting (exactly the same as the site pictures in fact) with the exception of the olive trees and the lush vegetation that now surrounds the property. The villa was cool and clean and a lot more spacious than the pictures would suggest, a bonus when you're traveling with four children (including two teenage boys). The next day the car hire arrived- Daryl booked all our transport- including the taxi to and from the airport as well as the car hire for the duration of our stay. I would recommend a car hire, even though the necessary amenities are within walking distance because there are some lovely restaurants and beaches in the surrounding area that you need a car to get to. The Escape Beach is particularly good for teenage children and quite reasonably priced for sun loungers etc although we could have quite happily stayed by the pool for the duration of our holiday! We had lovely time. The White Tower was a tranquil and relaxing place to hide away with my family. There's lots to do if you want to but on the other hand if you need somewhere to unwind and forget about the world outside then it's the perfect place to stay. Visually stunning villa the internet does not do this villa justice.In a great location very quiet and peacefull .Very modern inside great pool lots of areas outside to relax bbq area well used by the family with a nice seating area shaded from the sun.Fantastic value for money a wondrefull time had by all.

We stayed at the White Tower Villa in July 2009 and thoroughly enjoyed a fabulous stay. The accommodation at the villa was of a uniform high standard, clean and well maintained. The pool was fantastic, a well maintained safe area for our two boys to play in, with good seating and sunbathing areas for lazy afternoons in the sun. The patio area also had great shaded seating areas to enjoy eating outdoors without getting baked by the sun.
The area has plenty of good restaurants, bars and beaches to enjoy, only a few minutes away by car.
I would recommend White tower villa to anyone without hesitation. A great holiday.

White Tower Villa suited us perfectly with its fantastic pool and BBQ area, July was a hot time to go but we all slept well with the air conditioning on at night. Being only a 4 minuet walk to the local restaurants we were also able to enjoy a drink over a meal without any worry about driving. (Zero tolerance for hire car drivers)
The Villa is in a great spot, loads of room, fantastic views and private. It is also not too far from Escape beach and its water sports etc. Kyrenia is 10 mins by car and well worth a visit to the old harbour.
Cant wait to return.
