Home description

Villa Opp ‘Ali is a luxury newly built detached bungalow, set in delightful countryside with orange & lemon groves immediately outside. It is situated about 27 miles from the Airport, 8 miles from Kyrenia (Girne) and about a mile from the beach.
This villa is spacious and furnished to a high standard to ensure a ‘home from home’ experience. It offers a master bedroom looking out over the front patio is complete with en suite, shower & toilet. The 3 other bedrooms all offer superb views of mountains & swimming pool. The 2nd bedroom spacious & complete with double bed, 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds as well as a 4th bedroom making it suitable for 8 people. All bedrooms are fitted with ample cupboards and newly decorated. There is also a family bathroom with bath and shower.

The Kyrenia District

To one side of the harbour is the seventh century Kyrenia Castle, which now houses the fascinating ship wreck musuem. The remains of different civilization can be seen in the wealth of medieval castles, abbeys and amphitheatres, ensuring that those with a passion for culture and history are not disappointed.

There are many bars, restaurants and cafes that make the Kyrenia harbour a place for evening entertainment and leisure.

Alsancak area

Alsancak is a beautiful tranquil village nestled in the foothills of the mountains. From pine clad mountains to fertile plain Alsancak is home to some of the most popular holiday accommodation on the island. Also near to Alsancak is the Escape Beach, a beautiful sandy beach which is clean and well protected making it an ideal location for children ( a small fee is required). Situated on the Karpaz Peninsular are additional sandy beacheswith crystal clear warm waters - another main feature which attract many tourists to North Cyprus. Like many of the beaches on the island a small fee is payable when using the beach and its facilities. Another popular family beach can be found at the Deniz Kizi, a variety of water sports are on offer here, including, windsurfing, parascending, water skiing and inflatable fun rafts for children. Jet skis are also available for hire.

The village itself has several popular Turkish Cypriot Restaurants serving a variety of local dishes & fine wines including mezes whilst listening to the sounds of the traditional folklore! The newly opened local supermarket, Atakara, offers a wide range of food and household supplies with friendly staff willing to help.
If you wish to travel by Dolmus (local bus), they offer a frequent service from the main road which is approx. 500 yds from Villa Opp'Ali offering a cheap mode of transport.

Travel Arrangements
We would be happy to arrange transfers to and from the airports and/or car hire for you using the local Taxi company which we find to be extremely reliable & very reasonably priced. A self-drive car is the easiest way of travelling around North Cyprus. The roads are generally very good.
Car hire can be arranged for you should you require - prices range from £18.00 - £23.00 (dependant on type of car/time of year).

The villa is air conditioned & fully centrally heated (for the comfort of Winter guests).The lounge is semi-circular tastefully decorated with feature fireplace & CD player/Radio overlooking the gardens. The open plan kitchen is newly furnished with dishwasher, cooker rings (three gas plus 1 electric) together with a fan assisted oven. There is also a microwave and fridge freezer for your convenience. All necessities are in the kitchen i.e. kettle, toaster plus ample china, cutlery & utensils.

The Hallway has a washing machine with cupboard over containing towels, shower mats, iron etc. There is also a chest containing blankets, pillows & spare bed sheets.

Fantastic roof terrace with brick built barbecue (no solarium as below).

Beautifully landscaped Gardens with Citrus trees - The garden has been professionally landscaped and is regularly maintained with blossoming bourgonvillia and citrus trees (to name but a few!).

Private Swimming pool - The private overflow swimming pool (10m x 5m) has a Roman End with steps leading into the shallow end which is separated from the deep end by a dividing wall making this pool ideal with families with small children and non swimmers. There are chairs stored in the garage as well as sun beds, mattresses & umbrellas for use around the pool.

Sun Terrace & Brick built BBQ - From the front patio there are stairs leading up to a sun terrace with barbecue & patio table.


Conditions

We will send you a booking form and once you have returned the booking form to us with a 25% deposit, your reservation will be confirmed in writing. we also ask for a £50.00 breakages deposit which is returned after your stay providing there have been no breakages or damage to any items listed on our inventory.
We will not hold provisional reservations for longer that 10 days from initital enquiry.
Bookings are taken on a first come first serve basis especially during peak season.
The balance is payable 30 days before the start of your holiday.

To ensure everyone’s stay is a pleasant & enjoyable one, as possible, we ask that you vacate our villa by 10.00a.m. on the date of departure. Equally to give enough time for the Villa to be cleaned & the inventory checked, you will not be able to check in to the Villa until 2.00p.m. onwards – both are local time.
