Famous for its exceptionally sunny weather and location opposite the Mont Blanc summit, Alpe d’Huez offers majestic, energising views that are breathtaking all year round! The youthful, exciting resort has a wide range of activities to be enjoyed among family and friends. The Grandes Rousses Massif is a ski area which is accessible to all and presents a splendid view. For local shopping the nearest centre is located in the Bergers quarter, 150 m away.
Alpe d'Huez area
With a maximum altitude of 3330m above sea level, Alp d’ Huez offers everything you could dream of from a mountain holiday! The village sits at around 1860m and the views are only one of many attractions. Summer offers walking trails, climbing with our recommended guides and mountain biking to name a few. Winter obviously the main attractions are the seemingly endless ski and snowboard runs, winter parks and also the après ski. The 770 snow cannons are sure to help you get the most from the mountain and the 200+km of downhill skiing and boarding runs should keep you plenty busy in the day. Over 50KM of Cross Country ski trails are also available and regular buses will shuttle you from the apartment to the lifts. During the evening there are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars to relax in.

By Car; Motorway to Grenoble, then the A480. Take exit 8 to “Vizille-Les stations de l’Oisans”, which joins the N91, and continue as far as Bourg d’Oisans.
