The Rhone / French Alps / Isere region

Great snow record from November through to April makes this a haven for winter sports enthusiasts! Set high in the Grandes Rousses mountains, Alpe d'Huez has been nicknamed 'L'ile au Soleil' - the island in the sun - and boasts the 5th largest ski area in France with well over 200km of piste to explore, from gentle greens to the longest black run in Europe!

The resort offers a wealth of amenities, including a superb sports centre and the use of a large outdoor pool and skating rink, both free with full area lift passes. The resort has plenty of bars and fantastic restaurants for that all important apres-ski!

How to get there

Fly to Grenoble , Lyon and Chambery with most of the budget airlines.
Bus transfers from Grenoble direct to Alpe d'Huez approx.25 euros return.
Taxis available, although expensive.
Distance from Grenoble-99km, Chambery-125km, Lyon-150km.
Carhire from all airports.

The studio is equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay and has central heating so you don't need to worry about getting cold!

A TV and DVD player are provided for entertainment for the whole family.

Conditions

Refundable breakage deposit required on arrival, to be refunded within 2 weeks of departure.
50% of rental fee due 6 weeks before arival to secure booking.
