It overlooks the wonderful 'Cascade de la Fare' and is a few minutes walk to the Leisure Centre with its swimming pool, health spa and gym facilities.
To reach the village shops and restaurants you can either take the scenic walk or there are escalators which can whisk you up to the top in no time at all for that well deserved après ski drink or a delicious fondue in one of the charming friendly restaurants. You can go sledging next to the chalet and the apartment's large terrace is ideal for children to play safely in the snow .

Vaujany is located up in the Dauphine Alps at 1,250m and surrounded by stunning high mountain scenery. It is a traditional small alpine village with modern facilities and infrastructure ranging from exceptional childcare voted Best Family Resort in Alpes Magazine and given the Famille Plus label. It has a first class leisure centre with health spa and gym and a 160 person cable car without the queues which transports you to 2,800 metres in just 15 minutes. After a day's skiing on world class runs such as the Sarenne the longest black run in Europe or the 2200m of vertical descent without a lift you can relax in an authentic Alpine ambience without the commercial hype of most purpose built resorts.
Vaujany nestles on the south facing side of the valley and is linked to Alpe d’Heuz. It is part of the sunniest resorts in the French Alps with 300 days of blue skies a year and is dwarfed by the Massif des Grandes Rousses which has a spectacular show of colour projected by the setting sun on the high ridges.
The Alpe d'Huez / Vaujany area
There are a number of cosy restaurants to eat in with superb food and a wonderful atmosphere and you can
enjoy live music at the popular B52 bar later in the evening. There are daily events held by the tourist office and a fantastic leisure centre with health spa and 25m swimming pool with slides. You can go ice skating and ride in a horse drawn sleigh through the village. In the summer you can ride in the "little train" to the outdoor activities such as tennis and badminton courts, archery, mountain biking, frisbe golf etc., or catch the cable car up to the mountain restaurants and lakes or walk to Alpe D'Heuz, Oz, Les Deux Alpes etc., There is always something going on in the village in both summer and winter.
