Mews cottage is situated in a quite mews and benefits from off road parking. It is within a short stroll from the shops, pubs, restaurants and amenities that Alnwick has to offer and is an ideal family holiday home. The cottage is very spacious and decorated to a high standard of comfort and style to ensure you have everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

The cottage is no smoking. Sorry no pets allowed. All bed dressings and towels are provided.

To the rear of the cottage is a delightful self contained court-yard that is safe for small children and great for eating out.

•The cottage is beautifully decorated to retain its charm, while having every modern convenience. There is a lovely sun-trap courtyard garden to the back of the cottage, which is perfect for dining, and is safe for children to play in.
•The kitchen at Mews cottage comes equipped with; a gas cooker hob and oven, a microwave, toaster, fridge freezer, and washer dryer. In fact everything you require to make your stay a comfortable one.•The lounge dining area has a solid oak dining suite, sofa, fabulous fireplace, digital TV and DVD player, and a selection of DVD's, CD's, books and games. Naturally the cottage has central heating.
•There are three delightful and individually styled bedrooms. The spacious master bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom has a double also, and the third bedroom has a single bed and antique furniture.
•The lovely, and very stylish Mews Cottage in Alnwick, is the perfect choice for a great family holiday in the stunning county of Northumberland.

By car, take the A1 trunk road. Alnwick is 30 miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne. Alternatively you can get to Alnwick by rail travel; stopping at Alnmouth which is four miles from the property.Those travelling from oversea's can book schedule flights to Newcastle (NCL) airport or sea ferry to North Sheilds. Both options are within 30 miles of the property and local car hire is available. There is also car hire available in Alnwick.

“HOME FROM HOME,FABULOUS COTTAGE” Stayed at cottage while attending daughters wedding in sept 2012.This cottage is lovely and clean and cosy.Larry and his wife were perfect hosts, so friendly and welcoming.Fresh flowers.choc and lovely fluffy towels awaited us.Best cottage we have stayed in by far.We only stayed 3 nights but will definitely like to stay longer next time.We didnt get around much but alnwick town and alnwick castle are lovely.the tree house where our daughter married is fabulous and friendly.THANKS FOR LOVELY STAY.

“Fabulous self-catering accommodation in an ideal location” We have returned from a week's holiday at Mews Cottage in Alnwick and had an absolutely super break there. The cottage is first class: very tastefully furnished and decorated to a very high standard. There were five people in our party, including two children aged 12 and 9, and we were pleasantly surprised by the provision of not just one, but two, televisions, plenty of DVDs to watch in case of inclement weather(!), a variety of books to browse - both novels and books of local interest - and board games to play. The kitchen was well-equipped, with several sets of crockery and lots of cooking utensils, so there was no danger of running short! The kitchen had everything needed for a comfortable stay, with the exception of a dishwasher - due to lack of space. However, that did not spoil our holiday, as the cottage was definitely a home-from-home and is quite possibly the best that we have stayed in for a very long time. The living area was very comfortable, and each of the three bedrooms uniquely furnished to a very high standard, too. The bathroom was light and airy, and the entire property was immaculately clean. The location of Mews Cottage is ideal - within easy walking distance of Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden, and also within walking distance of the town centre and Morrision's supermarket. There are also fabulous sandy beaches just a short drive away. We were very warmly greeted on our arrival by the owner, who immediately made us feel very welcome. His attention to detail, and all the little 'finishing touches', ensured that we had an absolutely enjoyable stay. This is a property that we would definitely choose to stay in on our future trips to Northumberland.
