The Northern England / Northumberland region
Peaseblossom House is within 5 minutes walk of the town centre. Alwick is a historic, atmospheric town where the people are very friendly and welcoming. The town is exceptionally safe and has everything a guest could need. The Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens are also located at the centre of town. The beautiful beach and the magnificent Cheviot Hlls are only a ten minute drive away.

Northumberland is famous for the many stunning castles in the region, Alnwick Castle, Warkworth Castle, Bamburgh Castle, and Lindisfarne Castle are all within 5 - 10 miles of the cottage.
The region has stunning unspoilt beaches, including Alnmouth, Embleton, Newton by the Sea and many more. Nearby there is a golf course, there is fishing locally, cycle routes and walks for ramblers.

The cottage is located in the centre of the market town of Alnwick. It is easy to reach from the A1 motorway. There are good connections with the East Coast Main Railway Line, a good bus service, flights to and from Newcastle airport and Scandinavian ferries arriving at North Shields Ferry Terminal.

You will not find a fault with this well equipped and well located cottage. Lovely owners too, who are very helpful and show real attention to detail providing lots of extras. Perfect for our two children (8 and 10) who loved the bunk beds, games and fudge! Alnwick shops and restaurants just round the corner as well as the Castle and Gardens - great for Harry Potter fans. Car park was a 2 minute walk with permit provided. Kitchen well equipped for proper cooking. Great!!, |

We stayed at Juliet Cottage during the Easter holidays and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is in an excellent location, walking distance to shops, restaurants and of cours Alnwick Castle and Gardens. The cottage is beautifully presented and the welcome basket of goodies was a much appreciated touch. We would definitely recommend it and hope to visit again ourselves soon. |
