With one twin and one ground floor double bedroom (with ensuite facilities), this cottage can sleep four people in comfort. There is also a family bathroom with a spa bath and a kitchen with a pantry, a dining room and a sitting room with an electric stove. Outside the cottage is a small yard for bike storage and off road parking for two cars. Being centrally located in rural Northumberland, Ivy Cottage is a superb base for exploring this lovely part of the country.

The Alnwick / Chathill area
Chathill is a rural hamlet comprised of a farm and a few houses. It is situated 3 miles from Beadnell, which lies on one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland's magnificent Heritage Coast. Once a smugglers' haven, Beadnell is now a fishing village, popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour. Within easy driving distance of the nearby sandy beaches between Seahouses (where boat rides can be booked for the spectacular Farne Islands) and Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick, Holy Island and the Scottish Borders, there is plenty to see and do.

,Made very welcomed on arrival by the owners with homemade cake to go with our first cup of tea! Location suited our needs. The overall quality of the accommodation was excellent. Though located very near a railway station, the noise did not seem to be very noticeable at all. Visited the Studio & enjoyed the company of the owners and sad to leave on our departure - Hope we can book this time next year - Many Thanks

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
