For rent a first line sea front apartment located in an apart hotel in Almunecar, Spain, on the Costa Tropical. This apartment directly faces the Mediterranean sea and is located on the fifth floor overlooking the swimming pool, beach, playa de San Cristobal, and sea.
The apartment is located within the well known Chinasol building and benefits from having many of the facilities usually associated with a large hotel. These facilities include three restaurants, a swimming pool, a children’s pool, a sun bed area with a bar, internet, hax, hair dresser, organised tours, evening events and 24 hour reception.
The independent apartment has a terrace facing the beautiful beach and is within walking distance to many amenities due to it’s good location. There is a barbecue in the sun bed terrace in the summer with adults and children afternoon and evening events. You can also rent bicycles from the reception.

The Costa Tropical/Granada region
Almuñécar, founded by Phoenician traders three thousand years ago, lies right at the heart of the Granada coastline, which stretches from the end of Malaga's Costa del Sol until the beginning of the Costa de Almería, making Almuñécar one of the southern Spain's most attractive stretches of coastline.
Recently this area has been named the Costa Tropical because of its unique subtropical microclimate due to the close proximity of the High Sierras, where there is the famous ski resort of Sierra Nevada, and the North African Coast Line. The result is a remarkably good climate with very little rain, and ideal growing conditions for a myriad of subtropical fruits and flowers.
Almuñécar can claim to have one of the most benign climates of any town in the Western Mediterranean.

Almuñécar has plenty of amenities, beaches with all different water sports (pedalos, windsurfing, water-skiing, para-skiing, jet-skis, sailing, diving) and other sports (tennis, squash, horse riding, golf, hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, snow skiing, fishing, karting), plenty of restaurants and bars (well known for their delicious free tapas).
There is the famous Venta Luciano, well known for its fabulous flamenco dancers best accompanied with a wonderful dinner or barbecue, an impressive water park with plenty of attractions for the whole family to have a fun day, night clubs, disco pubs, cinemas, shops, a luxurious marina, all different types of markets (fish, flowers and vegetables, antiques, second hand, etc.), a beautiful Arab old town with the typical Moroccan and Granada handicrafts, a little animal park, an Arab castle, a botanical garden, an aquarium, Phoenician ruins, a Roman aqueduct, and much more!
Almuñécar is ideally located for taking a brief, or not so brief, excursion to some of the most wonderful sights that the south coast of Spain has to offer. Spectacular mountain scenery, unspoilt white towns clinging to the hillsides, unforgettable historic monuments, all within easy reach. There is even Spain's most popular ski resort Sierra Nevada just over an hours drive away.
You can laze on the beach in the morning, and in the afternoon visit local villages (Otivar, Jete or Lentejí) or Las Alpujarras, which are a series of mountain foothills that lie between Sierra Nevada and the sea with beautiful valleys and extraordinary snow peaks, or visit Granada, one hours drive away, you can marvel at the eight wonder of the world, the delightful Alhambra Palace, 20 minutes drive away from Almuñécar you can also visit the Caves of Nerja and the beautiful white towns of Frigiliana and Salobreña.
How to get there
* Fly to Malaga, Almeria or Granada airports. Malaga or Granada Airports are just 80 km from the apartment. Almeria airport is 120 Kms away from the apartment.
* A lot of low cost airlines fly to any of the three airports, specially to Malaga airport.
* A lot of car hire rental companies available in Malaga airport. I used my self www.malagacar.com
* Local buses run regularly between the airport and Malaga central coach station where you can pick up a coach to Almunecar.
* There are always local taxis available at the airport. I use a taxi from Almunecar. He charges around 90 Euros from Malaga Airport to Almunecar. Tel: 639146040, he speaks English and Spanish. He would quote you a price for the journey.

Further details outdoors: Chinasol Building is a three keys category hotel apartment. It is a very popular building in Almunecar. It is in a privilege position in front of San Cristobal Beach, a very popular beach.
Chinasol is within walking distance of all Almunecar facilities. The hotel apartment has three restaurants, a large swimming pool and kids swimming pool open all year round. A large sun bed area with a tapas bar, table-tennis, internet, hair dresser, social events, organised tours, etc.

Payments can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Payment can be made in Sterling or Euros.
