Our beautiful house is in an unspoilt area of Spains Costa Tropical with one of the best climates in Europe. The house is on an exclusive urbanisation that stands high on a mountain peak that gives you the most spectacular views over the Mediterranean Sea and mountains and along the rugged coast line towards the towns of Salobrena and Motril. The grounds of Fuentes are landscaped with tropical plants, trees, fountains and waterfalls.The infinity pool has a lifeguard, and the urbanisation is protected by 24 hour security guard for your peace of mind
The property is situated on the outskirts of Almunecar town and is often referred to as one of Spain's best keep secrets. Quiet and peaceful but only a 15 minute drive to the popular town of Nerja. The property has easy access to all amenities including the local market and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

The Costa Tropical/Granada region
The Costa Tropical has approx 19km of coast with about 25 different beaches and beautiful coves with plenty of Spanish restaurants to choose from. The area is known for its highly rated golf courses with an excellent new golf course in Motril about 15minutes drive away plus other golf courses within about 20 minutes drive.
You can also enjoy the fabulous ski resort of Sierra Nevada, only a short drive. Nestled in the mountains this beautiful Swiss style village offers a wide range of activities from November to April and is well worth a visit during the summer

The Alhambra Palace is approximately 1 hour away but is a must see. It is best to book early as it becomes very busy especially during summer months.
Almunecar town is a short 5 minutes drive with plenty of night life, beaches , restaurants, tapas bars and supermarkets to choose from. The Aqua Park is a fun day out and the bird park also has a stunning castle. The town benefits from a dive school and paragliding centre.
