“Fuentes de Almunecar “ “
This beautiful house is in an unspoilt area of Spains Costa Tropical with one of the best climates. The house is on an exclusive urbanisation that stands high on a mountain peak that gives you the most spectacular views over the Mediterranean Sea and mountains and along the rugged coast line towards the towns of Salobrena and Motril. The grounds of Fuentes are landscaped with tropical plants, trees, fountains and waterfalls.There are two communal pools, infinity pool has a lifeguard, and the complex is protected by 24 hour security guard.

The property is situated on the outskirts of Almunecar town and is often referred to as one of Spain's best keep secrets. Quiet and peaceful but only a 15 minute drive to the popular town of Nerja. The property has easy access to all amenities including the local market and many excellent restaurants for eating out.

The Costa Tropical/Granada region

Fuentes de Almuñécar is located on the Costa Tropical, of the Granada coastline. It is one of the last unspoilt coasts in southern Spain and over 320 days of sun per year, average year round temperature of 20 degrees.

Shops opening are dependent on the season, during the summer they are normally open from ten in the morning until one thirty or two in the afternoon, and then from five until nine or even later in the evening.

In the airport of Málaga, major national and international car rental companies offer their services, which can be contracted from your home country by fax or e-mail. In any tourist centre the visitor finds ample information on that topic. There are also companies renting chauffeur driven cars, as well as luxury cars and limousines.

The nearest beach is only a few minues walk away. La Herradura and Calahonda beaches are only 15 minutes drive, there is a magnificent marinas of Marina del Este and Motril nearby for sailing and water sport . The Costa Tropical is famous for its Golf Courses. Also Ski resort of the Sierra Nevada, which is just an hour away.


How to get there

Fly to Malaga Airport or Granada Airport. The Fuentes is only 70 km away from the airports by motorway.
Cheap flights available from Easyjet, Rayan Air, Jet2, BMI baby. From : Luton ,Birmingham, Manchester, Stansted and BA from only Gatwick or Heathrow airport.

Car hire available at Malaga Airport or Granada Airport with many companys, or visit www.doyouspain.com.

Local buses run regularly between the Airport and Almunecar ,which is ony five minutes away from the house.

Airport pickup is approx. €50 each way for 4 people.
An 8 seater costs around €100 each way.
There are always local taxis available at the airport.

In Almunecar town you are spoilt for choice with the selection of bars and restaurants serving traditional Spanish food and international cuisine. There are two flamenco bars and a couple of night clubs In town

There is a water park which is open from June to October. There is a castle which is well worth a visit and shoppers will enjoy browsing in shops selling shoes, clothes, household items and nik naks. Day trips close by could be to Granada with the magnificent Alhambra Palace, Nerja Caves, the peaks of the Sierra Nevadas
The Alpujarras - a very beautiful mountain region that forms the southern flank of the Sierra Nevada. Steep and narrow valleys overlooked by small villages. Possibilities of hiking, guided walks, horse trekking, 4 x 4 and parascending.

Terms & Conditions

The property is offered for holiday rental subject to confirmation by Sam and Ellie Hariri (“the Owners”) to the renter (“the Client”).
To reserve the “Property”, the client should get in contact with Sam and Ellie, the owners, to arrange the payment of the deposit (25%). Once the deposit is paid the confirmation will be sent. The balance of the rent is payable not less than six weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the owner reserves the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled. The client will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent unless the owner is able to re-let the Property. In this event, clause 5 of these booking conditions will apply. Reservations made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.
Any chargeable expenses arising during the rental period will be invoiced separately.
Subject to clauses 2 and 3 above, in the event of a cancellation, refunds of amounts paid will be made if the owner is able to re-let the “Property”, and any expenses or losses incurred in doing so will be deducted from the refundable amount.
The Client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party’s personal belongings, public liability etc. since these are not covered by the owners insurance. You are also advised to obtain from the post office, an E111 form that enables UK residents to obtain emergency medical treatment in Spain.
The accommodation is from Saturday to Saturday. The rental period shall commence at 5.00pm on the first day and finish at 12.00 noon on the last day. The owner shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated.
The maximum number to reside in the “property must not exceed 4 without the owners written consent.
The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take care of the “Property” and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. Although. a final clean is included in our prices, the owner reserves the right to charge for additional cleaning costs if the client leaves the “Property” in an unacceptable condition. The Client also agrees not to act in any way that would cause disturbance to those residing in neighbouring properties.
The Client shall report to the owners agent without delay any defects in the “Property” or breakdown of equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the “Property” and arrangements for repair and /or replacement will be made as soon as possible.
The owner shall not be liable to the Client; a) for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the “Property”, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the “Property”, gardens, swimming pools or communal areas; b) for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war strikes or other matters beyond the control of the owners; c) for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the client if the “Property” shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event, the owners shall, within seven days of notification to the client, refund to the client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.; d) for any accident or damage resulting from access to , or egress from different levels of the “Property”, garden, swimming pool or communal areas.
Under no circumstances shall the owners liability to the client exceed the amount paid to the owners for the rental period.
This contract shall be governed by English law in every particular including formation and interpretation and shall be deemed to have been made in England. Any proceedings arising out of or in connection with this contract may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction in England.

1. Tv , Dvd and Cd player are availabel
2. Bed linen, bath and hand towels provided changed weekly. There is a charge for any extra linen or
towels used.
3. Please bring your own beach towels for use at the swimming pools or at the beach.
4. Car hire is essential and is available at the airport.
5. Cleaning, electricity, gas and water are included in the weekly price.
6. A deposit of £200 is required to cover the cost of any breakages, and /or the cost of extra laundry or
cleaning
