Nestled on the top of a peaceful hill overlooking the popular spanish seaside and charming town of Almunecar, this is a perfect base for escaping it all and discovering the local area including many beautiful beaches, the whitewashed villages of Nerja/Frigiliana, the nearby marina and the beauty of the Alpujarras mountains/Sierra Nevada. Refreshingly quiet and relaxing, yet only five minutes from the bustle of Almunecar, "Fuentes" is close to all amenities, including the local market for bargain hunting, and many excellent restaurants for eating out. The complex boasts a stunning infinity pool, a separate curved pool and fountains amongst landscaped gardens for "chilling out". Whilst the house itself borders an enchanting square and benefits from a private garden and spacious roof terrace furnished with a table, chairs, sunloungers and a BBQ.

WEATHER
The unique and relatively unspoilt Costa Tropical enjoys the best micro-climate in Europe - there are at least 320 sunny days a year and you will often be able to eat outside or sit on the beach in winter.
There are consistently and significantly more sunny days, higher temperatures and fewer rainy days at all times of year than just about anywhere else in Europe.
Almunecar area
Almunecar has a choice of expansive beaches, a great selection of restaurants and bars where you are often given free tapas with your drinks! There is a market every week and several shops to browse.
You can meander through the cobbled streets of the historic centre and visit the remains of the moorish castle perched in the centre of Almunecar.
There is a waterpark and tennis courts for the more active and a marina 10 mins drive away which is perfect for chilling out with a nice glass of vino.
For golfers, there is a lovely course 20 mins drive away between Salobrena and Motril.
