The apartment is 2 minutes from the San Cristobal beach located on the second floor with a security phone, lift access and a communal swimming pool.

The San Miguel old town is 800m away, and is reached along a palm-lined promenade with tapas bars and restaurants and by bus (bus stop outside the apartment block). Accommodation comprises: a spacious lounge/dining room leading to the balcony with full sea views, where four can dine in comfort. TV (Spanish digital), DVD player and CD player.

Bedroom one has a double bed, chest of drawers, walk-in wardrobe and looks out to the beach. Bedroom two has two single beds, bedside table and walk-in wardrobe. Bathroom one has a bath with shower over, bathroom two has a shower.

Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, toaster, ceramic hob and oven, cutlery, crockery, blender, juicer, etc.

The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor, and there are two lifts. Children friendly.

The Andalucia region

Almuñécar lies right at the heart of the Granada coastline and is one of southern Spains' most attractive stretches of the coastline. Because of it's close proximity to the Sierras it benefits from a superb microclimate.


Almuñécar has plenty of amenities, beaches with a variety of water sports (windsurfing, water-skiing, para-skiing, jet-skis, sailing, diving) and other sports (tennis, squash, horse riding, golf, hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, snow skiing, fishing, karting)

There are an abundance of restaurants and bars (well known for their delicious free tapas), the famous Venta Luciano flamenco restaurant, an impressive Aqua park with plenty of attractions for the whole family to have a fun day, night clubs, disco pubs, cinema (casa de cultura), shops (in the old town you can wander around the lanes with numerous boutique and artisan shops). Every Friday there is a large outdoor market selling numerous wares.

Highly recommended is a visit to the a Arab castle and the Seven Caves museum in the old town.

"Great apartment, all the facilities and good location."

"Home from home"

Everything we needed for a good stay in Almunecar. Comfy and well kitted out.

Our only criticism was that the TV had a very limited no of channels. We were only there this time for 2 weeks, but often like to rent for 6-8 weeks during the winter. Consequently we would appreciate the opportunity to sit at 'home' in the evenings and do as we would back in the UK ie watch the occasional programme in English. A satellite dish serves the block so a decoder shouldn't be too hard to fit.

New Spanish Digital TV is now installed in the apartment.
