About the home
Enjoy the sun from the privacy of your own pool, sun terraces and garden, in a detached, well equipped and fully air conditioned villa. 3 Bedroomed, 2 bathroom detached property. English TV with all the main Terrestials channels + Sport and others, 65 in total. PS2/DVD player, CD, Positioned on the outskirts of a traditional Spanish town with its tree lined town centre. A 10-15 minute walk to the towns bars, restaurants, supermarkets and Town square. This is not situated on a huge estate in the middle of nowhere without facilities, all the advantages of a town close by, but nicely placed for a quiet relaxing holiday.
The townsfolk are warm and friendly and the odds are you will catch one of the many fiestas and pageants. Each Saturday the town centre is closed to traffic to hold the weekly market.
A short drive will take you to a blue flag beach, over 20 golf courses, or the livelier resorts of Torrevieja and Alicante.
Ideal for exploring or walking amongst regions history, castles and salt lakes. The Villa is fully equipped for a relaxing holiday but should the unforseen happen the housekeepers are only a phone call away, and as English ex pats. there will be no language dificulties. Linen and towels provided, for internal use.

Spacious fully fitted, tiled kitchen with oven, 4 hobs, microwave. Plenty of room and equipment to cook a 5 course meal or heat a pizza.
3 double bedrooms, master with en suite. 4 single and one double bed, double and single bed in lounge if required.
All bedrooms have air conditioning, which also doubles as a heater when required, fitted wardrobes.
Spacious air conditioned lounge with Sky TV, icluding movie and sport channels, PS2/DVD & portable CD. Variety of DVD films and PS2 games, books and board games.
En suite bathroom with wash basin & illuminated mirror, WC, double sized shower and heater. Family bathroom with WC, wash basin & illuminated mirror, bath & separate shower, bathroom heater.
The ground floor is open plan.

The sun maybe soaked up either on the secluded upstairs terrace, garden front and side terraces, or on the lawns laid to the front and side. The side terrace also opens up onto the swimming pool set to the rear, with roman steps taking you into the pool with the water depth 1.2 to 1.4 metres & underwater lighting for evening swimming.
Move the patio chairs, table, parasols and sun loungers to wherever suits you. Eat outside on one patio and sunbathe on another.

Swimming pool avaliable all year for the more adventerous, but April to October is considered enjoyable.

N.B. The layout of the villa leaves the master bedroom on the upstairs terrace self contained, nicely private, but is not suitable to supervise young children from, sleeping downstairs.

No Hen/Stag groups or similar.
For chilly winter evenings heat is provided by all the air conditioning units also providing heat, both bathrooms having wall heaters.
The electricity for the air conditioning units is charged. Payment is made by purchasing cards from the housekeeper at 10 euros each. The first card for about 30 hours use is provided free.
Conditions
A deposit of £100 is required to book accommadation.
This deposit will be refunded on completion of holiday.
Payment due 4 weeks before start of holiday.
The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Spain is renown for its hot summers and mild winters, though being situated on the coast it is not quite so extreme as the interior.
Almoradi is semi rural town, surronded by orange and lemon groves and is known throughout Spain for its furniture making.
The region has a wealth of history and historical towns and with an average of 320 days of sunshine plenty of opportunity to explore them. Murcia has a splendid Cathedral as does Alicante which sits at the bottom of the steady climb to the castle from which the views of the coast are spectacular. Dating from Roman times Torrevieja boasts not one but two salt lakes, one still used to abstract salt, the other set aside as a nature reserve. The water become so thick with alge it turns pick attracting flocks of flamingos.
Further to the east spa towns can be found with mineral baths. Miles of sandy beaches abound along the coast, the nearest being Guardamar, bordered on one side by a nature reserve, its nightly market is a festival of colour. The blue flag beach has lifeguards in the summer, space is never a problem with the top of the beach giving way to permenantly erected beach volleyball nets and play apparatus for the children. If thats to energetical, sit at one of the many cafes strewn along the promenade and watch the beach activities whilst relaxing with a favourite ice cream, coffee or full course meal.
The sandy beach winds it way around coves several miles south to Torrevieja, where again the promenade explodes iinto a cacophony of bars and restaurants. Night clubs are found sensibly on the outskirts and a newly built shopping centre boasts such shops as C&A, H&M and Carrefor.
The Almoradi area
Golf, Water Parks, Theme Parks, Horse Riding, Fishing and Walking can all be found within a short drive.
Costa Blanca or 'White Coast', if translated should really be 'Golf Coast'. Over 20 within a 40 minute drive, at least 15 of them being championship standard, the nearest being, 'La Finca',' www.golflafinca.com', being about a 10minute drive, others like La Manga, Villa Martin, Campoamor are perhaps better known and close by.
About an hours drive, near Benidorm, will have you in one of the biggest theme parks within Europe, 'Terra Mitica',' www.terramiticapark.com', themes, rides, attractions, safari, water parks, use the web site to plan your visits, for your need more than a day, its like disney on your doorstep.
During the summer Water Parks are essential and the area boasts several large facilities, each are designed to keep you occupied for a day, each with a variety of slides and water based obsticales, the park at Torrevieja even has a, 'summit plummet', although not quite as frightening as the original in Disney in Florida.
