About the home
The apartment is located on the 1st floor and is accessible by stairs and lift, so will suit families with small children and the elderly. There is a communal pool with a children's pool within it. Within the apartment there is a twin bedded room and the master bedroom has a king size bed. Lounge/dining room has dining table and 4 chairs, 2 sofas, air conditioning, Satellite TV, DVD and CD players. Bathroom has a bath with a shower over. We have a south facing balcony and a table and 4 chairs for you to enjoy dining al fresco over looking the orange groves and the views across to Dolores.
The Vegamar apartment is a 5 min stroll to the main square which is quite stunning with its High Church and rounded cropped trees where you can sit and watch the world go by. There are plenty of bars and restaurants most of which are traditionally Spanish and serve some excellent tapas. Not to be missed is the market that is held on a Saturday which really gives you a very large dose of traditional unspoilt Spain.
This area of the Costa Blanca is renowned for its many fiestas, but the one not to be missed is the Moors and Christian fiesta which is week long event held in July/August. There are many other fiestas held around the region during the summer months.
The apartment is approx 10 mins drive to Guardamar which has beautiful blue flag sandy beaches, the larger coastal town of Torrevieja (20 mins drive) which has lovely beaches, shops, bars, clubs and restaurants are plentiful. We are also within easy reach of many of the Costa Blanca golf courses with La Finaca in Algorfa being just about 10 mins drive away.
Benidorm is approx 1 hour away and well worth the drive! There is a Safari Park at Elche and there is an Aqua Park in Torrevija. There really is much much more to go and see and do on the Costa Blanca.

When you enter this modern spacious apartment you will find:
Bedroom 2 which is a twin bedded room and has a fitted wardrobe with a chest of drawers within it. There is a bedside cabinet and bedside lamp and 2 full size single beds. The window is fitted with blinds and curtains.
Master bedroom, has a king size bed, fitted wardrobe with chest of drawers within it, bedside cabinets, bedside lamps, clock radio, hairdryer, hair straightners. Large full length mirror. The window has fully fitted blinds and grills.
Family Bathroom, consists of low level bath with shower above and shower curtain, vanity unit with large mirror, and wc.
Kitchen, is fully equipped with cooker, ceramic hob, fridge/ freezer and all cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery etc. It also has a door leading onto a small galleria which houses the washing machine and microwave, ironing board and storage area.
Lounge has a 3 +2 seater sofas, a pine coffee table, a pine glass fronted dresser. Pine dining table and 4 chairs.
Patio doors lead to a balcony with a glass table and 4 chairs which overlooks the orange groves & is perfect for alfresco dinning .
All linen and towels are provided.

We have a selection of books to read and/or swap. We have also provided a good selection of DVDs to suit all the family. There is a CD player in the apartment and we have small selection of CD's. We have English satellite TV. There are playing cards and family games.
Travel cots, high chairs and children car seats can be hired locally from our Key Holders - please let us know if you are interested when booking.

Long term lets considered
If you would like a small groceries package to be ready in the apartment for your arrival, this can be arranged locally with our key holders - details upon request.
Change over day is flexible and subject to availability. Please check before booking your flights.
Arrival time is 3pm and check out at 11am. We will try to accommodate alternative times should you need to arrive early/check out late and if possible at no charge.
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required at the time of booking.
Payment can be made by cheque with a guarantee card, postal order or bank transfer (recommended)
A security deposit of £100 against damages and breakages is payable with the balance of the holiday. Which will be returned to you once the key holders have carried out their departure inspection and confirmed that there is no damage. We appreciate small breakages do happen, and a charge will not be made for the odd plate or glass broken.
There is an apartment inspection and cleaning charge of €50 (1-4 guests). This is to be paid locally for the cleaning of the apartment and laundering of bedding and towels after your stay. This is a local charge payable and should be left with the key holders if they are doing your transfers or leave it on the breakfast bar for the key holders to collect once you have departed. As owners we do not receive payment for this service, but if it is not left this will be deducted from your £100 security deposit.
Full payment is required 6 weeks before the holiday commences.
Cancellation Policy is
25% of the total cost of the holiday if cancelling within 6 weeks of the holiday,
50% of the total cost within 4 weeks of the holiday
75% of the total cost within 2 week of the holiday.
If we can help you with a change of date though, we will do so with just a small admin charge. If we can rebook the apartment a pro rata refund will be given.
The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Almoradi is within the Vega Baja region of Spain. It has a terrific climate all year round.
This part of the Costa Blanca is also renowned for salt and there are salt lakes close by that often appear pink and are in preservation areas which is also home to a variety of birds, including flamingos.
There is over 100km of coastline with golden sandy beaches (most awarded as blue flag)
Santa Pola is approx 20 mins away. It is a very ancient town, with a huge marina, excellent sandy beaches and an array of traditional bars, shops and restaurants. From the seafront you can take a boat trip to the Island of Tabarca for a small fee.

If you are looking for a rustic retreat, yet not to far off the beaten track, then Almoradi is an ideal destination. Located inland in the province of Alicante, Almoradi sits within a picturesque landscape and is a very traditional Spanish town.
Almoradi provides the ideal location to escape the hoards of holidaymakers during the summer. During the summer months there is often free entertainment in the square.
You will see many festivals held in and around the area and a couple of dates for the diary are:-
Moors and Christians held in July/August
Easter Parade - this is an event not to miss as it is nothing that you would ever see in the UK
Christmas Three Kings parade on 6th January - children receive presents in the town square
Nearby there are water parks, ten pin bowling alley, theatre, go-kartng, fishing to name but a few activities.
Its inland locations means that Almoradi can get very hot during the summer months, and enjoys mild winters.

The town of Almoradi is within easy reach of both Alicante and Murcia airports as they are both within a 45 minute drive. For clients hiring a car the apartment is less than 5 mins from the exit off the AP7.
Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch and Flybe all fly into Alicante and Murcia
There are plenty of car rental places at both airports but it is worth shopping about for the best deals.
