A superb quality apartment in a fantastic central position. Close to everything you need for a relaxing holiday. 2 minutes from a well stocked, reasonably priced supermarket. 2 minutes from the brilliant marina which is lined with a variety of excellent bars and restaurants. 5 minutes from two blue flag beaches. Opposite the recently extended 27 hole golf course and BRAND NEW CLUBHOUSE. Only 35 minutes drive from airport so car is not necessary (airport collection can be arranged).

Imagine waking up every day to views of the luscious green golf course with a backdrop of the spectacular Sierra Nevada mountains. Well you can if you stay in our new luxurious apartment which is air conditioned and furnished to a very high standard.

Top quality 37" Flat Panel TV and DVD player.

All furniture is of the highest quality (real wood finish). There are two comfortable sofas (one converts to a double bed). There is an extendable dining table to seat four people comfortably.

Kitchen equipment is of the highest quality and includes plenty of cooking utensils. There is a microwave, oven and hob together with kettle and toaster. A washing machine and large fridge/freezer are also provided.

The large bedroom has a large fitted wardrobe and two comfortable single beds. It has a patio doors leading out to the balcony with fantastic views of the golf course and mountains.

Apartment is on the fourth floor and there are lifts and stairs available.

Porto Fino is a secure, gated complex with intercom access and for extra security there is a safe for keeping your valuables during your stay.

Easy parking right outside the entrance to the apartment block or on a nearby road.

The large swimming pool is only a few minutes walk away (free use of relaxer chairs).

The Costa de Almeria region

PLACES TO VISIT IN ALMERIA

Sierra Nevada mountains are one and a half hours drive away (mostly through mountain terrain if you choose). You can go skiing during winter months and the nearest ski lifts are 2 hours drive away.

Granada with its renowned Alhambra Palace is one and a half hours drive away.

Nearer to the apartment (approximately 20 minutes drive) is the largest resort on the coast, Roquestas de Mar with its water park, shops and Aquarium. It has a massive beach and promenade which joins with the next resort, Aquadulce.

Almeria is approximately 30 minutes drive and this boasts a castle, cathedral and many historical places of interest.

The Cabo de Gata Natural Park is also well worth a visit. A fascinating landscape cocktail of arid desert, volcanic mountains, jagged sea cliffs, sand dunes, wetlands, a lagoon and sandy hidden coves.

Not forgetting Tabernas, reminiscent of the American Wild West where many great westerns were filmed.

GOLFING

For golfers, as well as the 27 hole golf course opposite the apartment , there are several other golf courses within reasonable driving range. Roquestas de Mar golf at 15 minutes drive and La Envia golf at 30 minutes drive.

The Almerimar / Portofino Complex area

ALMERIMAR

Almerimar is a beautiful town and as soon as drive down the approach road from the motorway you will be impressed by the well kept roundabouts and roads. It is literally an oasis of green and wonderful colours. It boasts a 1100 berth marina (second largest in Spain) which is full of cafe bars, tapas bars, restaurants and shops. The choice includes British, Irish, Italian, Chinese and of course Spanish. There are two unspoilt beaches and a long, peaceful promenade lined with cafes.

PORTO FINO

Porto Fino is in an enviable position, situated between the marina and the golf course and right in the centre of town! It is close to everything you could need. The quality and finish of this complex is amazing. This certainly is no bland concrete block and has real character.

Just 15 minutes drive away is a commercial centre (Copo) with a hypermarket, various shops, multi-screen cinema, restaurants, children's play area. Go Karting is also available. The local tourism centre is also situated here.

You can also use other airports to reach Almerimar, such as GRANADA (1.5 hours) or MALAGA, MURCIA and ALICANTE. These are 2+ hours drive away.
