Laguna beach is a beautifully landscaped complex with excellent facilities, built around a natural salt water lake. It is in a quiet location ideal for people who are looking for a relaxing holiday. The complex is totally secure which makes it suitable for children. This is not the location for people who want the clubbing scene.
The penthouse apartment is located just two minutes’ walk from the beach where a palm tree lined promenade stretches all the way to the harbour, where you can find bars, restaurants and the various shops of Almerimar.

The Costa de Almeria region
The region of Almeria is one of the most charming and unspoilt areas in southeastern Spain with excellent beaches, rocky coves and pretty fishing towns. This is the real Spain with the highest hours of sunshine and lowest rainfall in Europe. Almeria´s skies are also the clearest in Europe, meaning that Europe´s most powerful telescope has been installed here, near Gergal. With an annual average of 3,000 hours of sunshine, it is also home to Europe´s largest solar energy plant, the Solar Platform of Almeria (PSA), an EU solar energy research centre.
Granada and the Alhambra Palace is 2½ hours to the west and the Sierra Nevada Ski village there is well worth visiting even if you don't ski. There are breathtaking drives over the Sierra Gador and Nevada ranges followed by lazy lunches in Moorish towns in the endless valleys beyond. The beautiful Alpujarras region in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada is also home to Chris Stewart the author of “Driving over lemons”, “A Parrot in a Pepper Tree” and the “Almond Blossom Appreciation Society” trilogy.
Almerimar / Laguna Beach, Almerimar area
Andalucia has outstanding wildlife areas and has the largest coastal reserve, the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park. 40km (25 miles) to the west of Almeria. Almerimar is a beautiful resort built around the original harbour and flanked on both sides by natural parks and unspoilt beaches. The marina is one of the largest in Spain and is host to more than 1300 berths.
The town is maintained to the highest of standards, roads are lined with palm trees and flora. Almerimar is bursting with local pride and during the summer months the whole town indulge in fairs and family entertainment such as, beach parties, Medieval markets with street entertainers and offer a warm welcome for all to join in. The 27 hole golf course with all the usual facilities is adjacent to the marina, which overlooks the original harbour where traditional Spanish fishing boats work as they have done for many years.
There is of course much more to do around Almerimar:- Water park, Mini Hollywood where many spaghetti westerns were filmed and also included a zoo and swimming pool, wind and kite surfing, boat trips, golfing, go karting, horse riding and natural parks for walking or bird watching.
