The Costa de Almeria region

Costa de Almeria is a place with lots of coastal views and many hidden beaches. It’s said to have the driest climate in Spain with minimum temperatures of 15 centigrade rising to 35 centigrade in the summer months. Many places to visit such as Almeria castle, water park, go-karting and shopping malls, a great zoo.
Mini Hollywood, a place where many spaghetti westerns have been made; a great family day out.


Almerimar / Velas Blancas area

Almerimar is a lovely friendly little town with a marina boasting to be the 2nd biggest in Spain. Surrounded by nice bars and lovely restaurants, plenty of parks and children’s activities. The beach is also very clean with crystal clear seas and also many bars and eateries along the promenade. Almerimar has a 27 hole championship golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus owned by the local hotel almerimar. Also there is a nature reserve featuring flamingos and much more great wildlife.


How to get there

Monarch airlines ...easyjet ..Ryan Air and First Choice fly regulary to Almeria airport.
Recomended car hire companies include Ariga Crown and economy car hire, both situated at airport, both tried and tested and both do a good deal.
The motorway links from the airport are very good. A 20 minute drive to get to the resort of Almerimar.

Rental start from £130 per week in the low season rising to £260 per week in the high season. Low rates for oaps on short term leases i.e 1 month...Please note low rates do not apply for the christmas and easter periods..Prices shown are only right upto march 2010....prices after that date are subject to inflation costs..A £5 charge per person will incur for cleaning costs ..ie bedding etc for any group sizes above 2 people...When booking a 25% deposit is required then 6 weeks before arrival the remaining balance must be paid..A 50 euro deposit is required when recieving the keys to cover damages and a fob for the security gates, 30 euros will be returned when the keys are handed back and the remaining 20 euros will be returned after the apartment has been inspected for damages, it will be sent to your home address..Alternatively replace the damaged or broken items but this must be mentioned when you hand the keys back...please note low rates apply when a booking of 2 weeks or more...ie 1 week in low season is £150...2 weeks in low season is £130 per week..please feel free to ask any questions.
