Perfectly situated beach-fronted apartment, with an electronic gated entrance - private gardens and outdoor swimming pool, which is open between June and September. The grounds also enjoy security access to the beach and promenade which is only a 5 minutes walk to all local amenities that are located around the main marina at Almerimar.
The air-conditioned apartment has 2 bedrooms,fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and a lounge/ diner leading to the terrace with table and seating. Access to the apartment is via Portal 12, number 1221 and is reached by either stair or lift to the second floor.
The lounge area has a sofa bed, dining room table with seating for 6, a TV, DVD and CD player with access to the terrace which enjoys superb views to the pool, children's play area, gardens and ocean.
The apartment is next door to the 4 star hotel “Hotel Almerimar” this hotel is currently being used to facilitate the golf clubhouse and shop. The golf course, designed by Gary Player, has recently been extended to a 27 hole facility and is an excellent golfing venue.

The Costa de Almeria region


Costa Almeria has long been the forgotten part of Spain and one of its best kept secrets, with the Sierra Nevada Mountains close by with its varied landscape and pretty villages, it is not hard to see why. However it is now becoming a favourite for those holiday makers wishing to escape the commercialism and in favour of the more traditional Spain. Being at the southern end of Spain, Almeria temperatures in the summer can reach 40c and during the winter, temperatures rarely drop below 15c during the day.
The region of El Ejido has been for the past 20 years a vast growing economy in the fruit and vegetable industry generating a new welcome area of wealth for local people. This region provides fruit and vegetables to the whole of Europe bringing employment opportunities and allowing the once small mountain town of El Ejido to expand into a more modern day town with superb shopping and dining facilities. The local Town Hall now supplies all the infrastructure to both El Ejido and Almerimar, the two are joined by a three mile stretch of new dual carriageway system making easy links for transportation and facilities.
The Almerimar / Playa Del Golf area
Almerimar was originally a fishing village but it now has one of the best marinas in Spain. Here you will see boats of all shapes and sizes, any visitor can stroll along the quayside and take in the atmosphere of the busy port, perhaps stopping for a bite to eat in one of the many bars and restaurants, with such a wide variety of traditional Spanish Tapas bars, Chinese restaurant, fish restaurants and many more.
There are a few shops for you to browse round in the marina but if you want a shopping trip out, why not try the shopping centres at Copo, which is on the main dual carriageway, or the Gran Plaza in Requetas.

Valle del Esta. 18 holes = 8. (approximately 60 miles – travelling time 1 hr 10 min)
Desert Springs. 18 holes = 10. (approximately 62 miles – travelling time 1 hr 20 min)
Beach
There is approximately 13 km of beach with general beach activities including jet skis and volley ball.
Cycling
The walkway that runs alongside the beach enables good easy cycling facilities as there is a designated cycle path which leads to the lake facilities which are being developed at Lago Victoria, you will also find excellent cycling facilities within the 15 mile stretch of nature reserve to the East of Almerimar.
Bird Watching
As mentioned above, to the East of Almerimar there is a 15 mile stretch of nature reserve where you will find all types of birds from Europe and Africa for the enthusiastic bird watcher.
Winter Skiing
Within a two and half hour drive you can be at the peaks of the Sierra Navada ski resort.
Horse Riding
There are also horse riding facilities to be found locally.
