About the home

This is a fabulous house for a family holiday which has air conditioning for cooling in the summer months and heating in the cooler months. (bedrooms only) The house has four attractive bedrooms and is close to all amenities. Guests enjoy being able to walk to the nearby bars and restaurants which are full of locals enjoying traditional food and drink. Shops are also walking distance.

Entrance into a hallway from where leads the attractively furnished living room and adjacent separate dining room. The kitchen next door has a pantry and doorway to the back garden. To the right are the 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms - which are furnished to give the feel and ambiance of a traditional Portuguese villa.

The villa is traditionally furnished to give a real "feel" of Portugal, but has all modern amenities. The spacious and comfortable living room opens onto the terrace with views to the pool situated a few metres away. The bedrooms are light and airy and one has views to the pool. The kitchen has all modern conveniences and is well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery etc. The house enjoys maid service 5 days per week.

The outside is particularly attractive as the house is very private being completely walled and with a lockable gate. There is a well kept garden and children´s swing under a mature tree. Barbecue and preparation area for food etc. There is lots of outdoor furniture to enjoy summer dining or sunbathing.
An outdoor shower is an added convenience...

The Algarve / Central Algarve region

The Algarve is a historic and fascinating region. Algarve is from the Moorish Arabic word Al Gharb (the west) - remnants of the Moorish occupation can be seen in nearby Loule or Faro. The climate is the attraction for most people as we enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine a year - even when it rains it is warm and the rain does not last for days as it does in northern Europe. For that reason the Algarve is a haven for sports enthusiasts, walkers and great for a beach holiday - even out of season when the beaches are empty but our fabulous beach restaurants and still up and running for business so you get even better service !

The Almancil / Vale Formoso area

Almancil is the hub of the "golden triangle" the exclusive area of Vale do Lobo/Quinta do Lago with the"peak" of the triangle being Almancil. Vale Formoso is a pretty typically Portuguese area within Almancil - it is particularly handy to walk to shops, bars and cafes as well as small local supermarkets. The beach is just 5 minutes by car as are the water slide park, horse riding etc. and activities of interest for children. In the summer we have lots of outdoor music events and "events" to keep everybody happy
