Home description
A large villa on slightly higher ground and with a fine view over the San Lourenzo first hole fairway. There is a large heatable pool with big terraces and an unusually large completely equipped summer kitchen, bar and gas barbecue and oven complete with extensive refrigeration. It is a four minute drive to the Quinta do Lago shaded parking and beach bridge.
The four bedrooms have their own plasma TV (cable service) and the whole is air-conditioned. There is a fully equipped gymnasium. For those who want a large living space this house probably has the largest - virtually the whole ground floor is a large space with perfecly equipped kitchen at one end, living/sitting area at the other, and midway small grand piano and snooker table.
The accommodation includes entrance hall and cloakroom,large living and dining space mentioned above with piano, snooker area opening out with sliding doors to big poolside terraces and summer barbecue kitchen. At ground floor level are a twin bedroom and two double bedded rooms all with their own bathrooms.
On the first floor level are the master bedroom (queensize bed), dressing area balcony, and bathroom. Also at this level is the principal guest room with double bed and bathroom. With separate entrance near the gymnasium and garage is the 6th bedroom, a twin with a shower room and kitchenette but it also has the laundry equipment and is suitable for staff or teenagers only.

The Algarve region
As one of the most exclusive parts of the Algarve Quinta do lago is set amongst woodlands and sandy beaches on the edge of a nature reserve Ria Formosa. It’s famous for its all year round championship golf courses, tennis courts and water sports.
The nearest main town Almancil holds many shopping faculties including a supermarket, Banks, Butchers, Pharmacy, and Medical Centre, Hairdressers and the local fish and chip shop!
Faro town holds an excellent shopping mall with stores such as Zara, Timberland, Lacoste, Benetton,Mango and Many more this is a 20 min drive from the property.
Almancil / S.Lourenco area
The beach is a short walk from the property (10mins) where you can walk through some of the best views of the Algarve
Local restaurants are a 15 minute walk from the property and of the highest standards offering excellent views of the lakes & nature reserve.
Located at the entrance of Quinta Do Lago is a shopping and restaurant village which holds fashion boutiques, interior design stores and restaurants and even a local pub. (20 min walk)
Next to this is Bouganvilla Plaza where most of your daily needs are met with a supermarket, banks, newsagents and a local pizzeria.
Vale Do Lobo is a short drive from Quinta Do Lago and is where the famous Dona Filipa hotel is located. This is surround by first class restaurants and also has fabulous beach side restaurants. Vale Do Lobo also has a horse riding academy and a children’s playground with crazy golf.
A truly great way of seeing all of the local area is to hire a bike which can be arranged in the local outdoor activities centre located in Quinta Do Lago.
