The Algarve region
The Algarve has the best climate in Europe with over 300 days of sunshine a year. Even in winter the temperature is often up to 20 deg.C during the day with chilly morning and evenings (bring a sweater) In summer the area is fanned by cool Atlantic breezes making it the ideal climate year round. Within half an hours drive are many places of historic and cultural interest the two closest being Loule (charming market town) 10 mins drive and Faro (historic provincial capital) 20 mins drive. The area is easily accessible by car to Lisbon and Seville (both approx. 2.5 hrs by car) There is also an excellent train service to Lisbon.
Almancil / Vale Formoso area
Almancil is in the centre of the "Golden Triangle" and has more than 200 restaurants and bars, cafes etc. The famous beaches and golf courses are some 5 minutes by car. Please ask for information on specific interests.

Further details indoors: Entrance through traditional Portuguese garden to attractive terrace areas and the front door which leads to the living room with its plasma giant tv, dvd and music system as well as a pellet burning fireplace for the cooler months. One double bedroom has full en suite bathroom. One twin bedroom has full adjacent bathroom. Third bedroom has double bed with bunk single bed above (ideal for children). Very modern kitchen with everything thought about, and fully equipped with all crockery, cutlery, glasses etc. for easy entertaining and eating. The outdoor area is very attractive with all new tables, chairs, garden furniture and gas barbecue to make eating around the attractive pool a memorable experience.
Further details outdoors: The house is charming on the outside with its pretty traditional Portuguese design. The garden is full of exotic and interesting trees and plants giving maximum privacy. Very large terraced area (covered) makes outdoor living a cooking on new gas barbecue a pleasure in the warmer weather. From the terrace one enjoys stunning views across Almancil and countryside and to the sea a few kms in the distance.

25% deposit to secure booking, balance 6 weeks before arrival. Breakage deposit of Pnds.Stg.200/Euros 300 payable with final payment (refunded on departure subject to no breakages). Cots and high chairs available at small supplement. One extra bed permitted at supplement - please ask. Car rental can be arranged on request.
