This truly stunning detached villa is situated in Val Formoso in the beautiful town of Almancil, Algarve. Almancil is just a 15 minute drive from Faro airport and ten minutes from the town of Loule. The 3-bedroom villa with accommodation for 6 people is spacious, comfortable and well furnished. The villa boasts spectacular far reaching sea and countryside views that are as panoramic as you will find anywhere in the Algarve reaching from Faro to beyond Vilamoura.
The villa is an ideal location for an active holiday, with sports facilities and top of the range golf courses situated nearby. There are a number of breathtaking beaches only a short drive away. There is a wide range of interesting and varied restaurants in the area ranging from excellent quality traditional Portuguese restaurants to gourmet Michelin star establishments. Many of these, including one of the Michelin star restaurants, are just a short 5-10 minute walk away.
It is just a short 10 minutes drive to the beaches at Vale do Lobo and Vale do Garrao. The beaches here are made up of golden soft sand and one can walk for miles from Quarteira all the way to Faro island, going eastward. Both Vale do Lobo and Vale do Garrao have plenty of beach restaurants and water sports.
There are a number of excellent 18 hole golf courses including: Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo, Pinherios Altos, Villa sol, Villamoura which are within a 10 minute drive.
There are two excellent supermarkets within close proximity to the Villa. Apolonia located in Almancil stocks many imported foreign products from the UK and has everything you would need during your stay. Continente is slightly further away located in Loule and is larger than Apolonia. The fresh meat and fish counters are recommended here. There are also weekly or monthly markets in Almancil, Quarteira and Loule. Loule has an amazing Saturday morning market and this is well worth a visit. You will find many of the banks in Almancil and Loule. Faro town is an interesting place to visit for its buildings and Portuguese shops and now has on its outskirts a large shopping centre with shops and cinemas. The giant supermarket Jumbo is also situated here. Vilamoura is also worth a visit (20 minutes drive) for its attractive marina and shops and restaurants.

Kitchen: The attractive kitchen has everything one needs for a comfortable holiday with fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine. A range of crockery, glasses etc is provided.
Living Rooms: The living/dining is spacious and has an attractive leather 3 piece suite and a 42” plasma TV with basic Sky channels. There is also a music system and DVD player.

The large sun terrace with ample seating and sun loungers is an excellent place to enjoy the Algarvian sun, with the 8 x 4 sized private swimming pool being a great place to cool off. There is a table tennis table which can be moved around the large patio area. There is a lawned area to the front of the property providing an area to play with young ones. Enjoy lunch in the shade of the outdoor covered seating area where you can enjoy the views out to sea.
Directions to the villa will be forwarded to the guest upon payment. We would recommend a hire car for guests to fully explore and tour the wonderful coastal areas and nearby villages. The property has ample parking. Airconditioning is extra at £100 per week. Pool heating is extra at £100 per week.
A fee of 25% of the total charge, which is non returnable, is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. Also a deposit for breakages is payable at this time of £200.00 which will be returned within 2 weeks of departure if all is well. If not then any cost of damage or breakages of any sort will be deducted from this. If damages exceed the deposit then the occupier will be liable for all costs.
