This attractively converted connected farmhouse, is ideally situated at the quiet end of Almancil very close to Apolonia super market. For those who like to be away from the tourist developments but still within easy reach of all amenities. It has picturesque views of the surrounding hills. This spacious accommodation consist of: Three double bedrooms (1 en suite); Three twin bedrooms (2 en suite).
Patio terracing surrounds the large private swimming pool with shallow end ladder and there is a poolside shower. There is also a paddling pool for the very young. The terrace, with BBQ, has a large pergola for al fresco dining offering shade from the sun. The garden is stoned and walled and with the drive gates closed, make a safe area for children. The stoned gardens are well stocked with wonderful flowering plants - bougainvillea and hibiscus abound. The garden is illuminated at night. Safe parking for several cars.

The Algarve region
The Algarve is the southernmost region of Portugal and it's one of Europe's favourite holiday destinations well known for glorious year round sunshine and excellent sandy beaches.
The weather is great most of the year (average yearly temperature 22.3C). April/May/October/November its in the lower 20sC, June/July/August/September upper 20sC - 35C or more. If you are lucky you can lay on the beach enjoying the sun on Christmas day!
Apart from the wealth of available water sports facilities (the marinas of Vilamoura and Lagos deserve special mention, amongst the various ports and harbours), there are other alternatives, such as tennis courts, famous golf courses, luxury hotels or quaint holiday resorts and an exciting nightlife.
Almancil area
Almancil is most notable for its proxomity to the luxury beach resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo.
The village is also famous for its locally-produced pottery works, and the interior of the little Church of São Lourenço on the outskirts of Almancil is a must-see - covered with fascinating blue-coloured azulejo glazed tiles depicting the life of the saint.
The 1,680-acre complex of Quinta do Lago is one of the most exclusive developments in Southern Europe. Comprising a sumptuous five-star hotel, several first-class restaurants and four championship golf courses, the resort is a tourist attraction in itself.
How to get there
Fly to Faro airport. Take hired car or taxi to villa. 20 minutes journey.
Cheap flights available from Easyjet.co.uk from Stansted, Luton and Gatwick direct to Faro. Car hire available from Avis, Auto Jardim and many other companies.
Mini-bus pick up from the airport to villa can be supplied if required.
