This beautiful villa is situated in the hills of 'Vale Formoso' (beautiful valley) with stunning sea views, in a rural setting just above Almancil, south of Loule. Casa Luz do Sul is ideally suited for family holidays, and the disabled, wheelchair accessible thought out for independence, with an emphasis on outdoor fun, spacious terracotta paved covered terraces that surround the living areas, planted with Bougainvillea provide welcome shade during the hotter months for alfresco dining.
The lounge and the two double bedrooms lead out to the enclosed landscaped gardens and pool area, enjoying panoramic views of the coast. Whilst secluded and private the villa enjoys easy access to the shops, restaurants, bars, golf courses and beaches. The location is a great place for kids, who can explore the mountain paths and walk to the riding school two minutes away.
However this south west facing villa leaves the best till last - at the end of the day relax on the terrace with a glass of local Vinho Verde to watch magnificent sunsets followed by a spot of star gazing any lively children can take a night time dip in the lighted pool. WI FI, air con, log fire.

Set within private landscaped gardens the large pool 9.50m x 4.50m enjoys panoramic views of the coast. Relax under the dappled shade from the Bougainvillea, terracotta paved covered terraces that surround the living areas.
Enjoy lazy lunches and starry evening BBQ dinners at the large (8 people) stone dining table. Two round tables and chairs to enjoy the beautiful views to the coast. The mornings are filled with birdsong from the wide variety of bird life found here. From the house you can explore the tiny paths over the neighbouring hills walking through wild herbs such as thyme, lavender and rosemary. Plenty of sun loungers to relax and enjoy the Algravian summer sunshine. Wooden pathway through the grass to the terraced pool and pool lift area for wheelchair users.

The Algarve region
There are many beautiful beaches all within approx 15 minutes drive from the villa. The beaches nearby have the "blue flag", beautiful large sandy beaches with protected dunes, and are amongst the cleanest in Europe. Family orientated beach restaurants, and a wide variety water sports.
The market town of Loule hosts many festivals in the summer months, with live music in the castle "Med festival" jazz events and the famous "white night" with plenty of street entertainment for all the family.
Loule has a bustling Saturday morning Market along with an amazing selection of fruit and vegetables, fresh fish, herbs, spices, honey, bottled liqueur and fig cakes, Loule is also renowned for traditional handicraft, copper, leather and ceramic goods hammered out in dozens of workshops dotted around its streets.
The National Park “Ria Formoso” comprises an extensive lagoon area that follows 60km of coastline made up of sand dune islands, marshland, salt-pans shimmering freshwater lakes. There are many small Islands to visit by ferry , enjoy lunch with freshly caught fish on stunning beaches and clean, clear waters.
Vilamoura Marina is a great place to hire out a yacht for a relaxing lunch and a good chance of spotting dolphin's kids will love it! and not far away is “Zoo marine park" where kids and adults can swim with the dolphins.
Water slide parks, water sports, kite surfing, surfing, paragliding, horse safaris, rock climbing and diving are just some of the Activities in central Algarve.
Inland rolling hills where a more traditional, rural way of life prevails, with small hamlets and villages to explore, horse safaris, walks, and cycling are a great way to get a taste of the Algarve’s beautiful country side.
Vale Formoso is situated in the hills just above Almancil and south of Loule, “Vale Formoso” meaning “Beautiful valley” the area has become one of the most sought after areas to live, due to the stunning sea views, and rolling hills. Only minutes away from the 5 star resorts such as Quinta do Lago , Vale do Lobo, and beautiful beaches.
The area is perhaps best known for its championship golf courses, some of the finest in Europe in most beautiful surroundings. Golf courses include, Pinherios Altos, Sao Lorenzo and Vilamoura.
Almancil has plenty of night clubs, bars and a vast variety of restaurants to choose from. Banks, post office, pharmacies, and English speaking medical centre. Supermarkets that supply many UK products and has a great selection of veggies and fish counters.
Horse riding is 2 minute walk though the valley from the villa, and nearby there are tennis courts, Go-karting, mini golf courses, water slide parks and plenty more to do whilst on holiday.
Bela Vista is situated in an ideal position, central to explore within easy reach the vast variety of what the Algarve has to offer.
