Alloway cottage is a charming quality cottage in open countryside with spectacular views of the Ayrshire and Galloway hills and yet only a five minute drive to the historic village of Alloway - birthplace of Scotland's national bard Robert Burns.
This is an ideal holiday base with everything you need on your doorstep. Nearby is the Ayrshire Coastal Path, one of the finest coastlines in the British Isles. Walking, riding, racing, and a choice of golf courses are available locally.
Culzean Castle is spectacular and is Ayrshire's most popular tourist attraction. Day trips to Ireland can be taken from Stranraer, and Glasgow and Edinburgh can be easily reached.
The cottage is surrounded by generous gardens with a long driveway entered via wrought iron gates there is a patio with a table and chairs to enjoy the views on those long summer nights.

We went as a family 2 teenage kids 2 adults and 1 dog. There is something for everyone. The cottage has been tastefully decorated and exceptionally equipped. We would recommend this to anyone. Lovely … More

"NICE COTTAGE IN A PICTURESQUE LOCATION"
Situated near to the coast and many of the tourist locations.We had good weather and enjoyed the holiday.Plenty of crockery/utensils.All we needed.Double bedroom,lots of storage.Twin bunk bedroom (full size bunks) plus a put u up in the lounge.Washer,dishwasher and fridge with small freezer section.A very good standard.

I am sorry to hear about the problem with the hot water/heating during your short two day stay at our cottage.As both were working fine before you arrived to visit we were not aware of the problem.We have since had the boiler checked and the hot water/heating are now working correctly.
