The Villa is situated in a residential area with bars, restaurants and a mini market within a 5 minute walk. The property is in the unspoilt national park close to 2 blue flag beaches, well equipped & suitable for a family holiday. Own pool and self enclosed garden, bbq, external wood oven and patio areas which are totally private and not overlooked.
This property is privately owned and we endeavour to provide a high standard of accommodation for our guests, the same standards as we ourselves expect when we go on holiday. The villa is furnished with all the comforts we enjoy at home including a fully equipped kitchen with American Fridge/ Freezer.
Digital flat screen TV offers UK programmes, bedding and towels included with weekly change. Air conditioning is available at an extra charge.

There is a large living room which is tastefully furnished and has a log burning fire, TV & DVD with freeview Satellite offering all ITV and BBC stations and some Sky channels. The first floor mezzanine which has access to a large sun terrace with breathtaking views across the Sea is furnished with relaxing wicker style sofas.
There is a treadmill machine on this floor although if the sun is shining we would recommend a walk outside instead, which will allow you to soak up the local scenery. The windows are fitted with mosquito blinds.
Next to the living room is a dining room with table and chairs for six, double patio doors that give access to the garden and pool area. The spacious kitchen is equipped with modern equipment including all crockery, cutlery, glassware, cookware, gas hob & fan oven, American Style Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine, Dish washer and spin dryer (not that you will need it during the summer!).
The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious and connected to the lounge via a hallway. The first bedroom is a twin and has access via French windows to the pool area. Both double rooms have en-suite, one with access to the pool area; both have windows with sea views. The main bathroom is also off the hallway.

Vale da Telha is a growing but small development about 3 miles from the Moorish town of Aljezur, with its castle ruins and daily fish and fruit/veg market. The entire vicinity is a conservation area known as Costa Vicentina which is a nature reserve with storks, wild boar, eagles, ospreys, buzzards, peregrine falcon and the fantastic bee-eater. For Golfers there are courses at Lagos about a 20 minute drive away.
There are 4 local bars three of which offer a choice of food. The town of Aljezur has numerous restaurants and bars and a supermarket that is well stocked with English foods.

The property is managed locally by a british couple who will meet and greet you and are also available if there are problems or emergencies and are happy to give advise on local attractions, beeches and facilities.

The Algarve / West Algarve region
The Algarve is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe. With its beautiful golden-sand beaches and great weather (even in the winter), the Algarve becomes more and more popular with holiday makers. The Portuguese are fond of their culture and cuisine and will be happy to share it with you. The seaside restaurants serve delicious and fresh seafood, whilst local restaurants (with a 5 minute walk) have a full menu offering a wide range of local dishes. There are local markets selling the best of the regions produce and many places of interest that will keep you occupied throughout your stay. The Algarve’s best surfing beach at Arifana which is about 5klms away and golfing is available at Lagos about a 20 minute drive away.
The Aljezur / Vale da Telha area
Vale da Telha is a growing but small development about 3 miles from the Moorish town of Aljezur, with its castle ruins. The nearest mini-market is 5 minute walk away and apart from stocking most essentials has a small take away menu, home made in the traditional sense of the word by the owner’s wife (but take your phrase book!). Close by (5 minute walk)are 2 restaurants and bars offering a wide range of dishes from early morning to late at night where English is spoken.They always offer a fixed price (low0 daily special. There is another bar called Pirhana (Don't worry it's just the name there aren't any) a 10 minute walk away that is fantastic for watching the sunset and the owners speak fluent English. There is live entertainment on Sundays with a resident Irish singer. There are many more restaurants on the 2 nearby beaches. Aljezur has a choice of a Large and several small supermarkets, all of which have a wide selection of fresh bread, meat, groceries, wines beers and spirits and English food if you must!.
