The property is at the end of a 2 year renovation. Many new items including sofa, dining table, beds, kitchen appliances and bathroom appliances. Children and babies are catered for with the use of cot and hi-chair. The house is rather old and has been built in different stages and is subsequently on differing levels. This property is most probably not suitable for persons in wheelchairs. Also, any parents with very young children may like to consider the fact the house has steep steps and parents should really ask us for more details about the steps if you are concerned for young childrens safety.

The Algarve region
Well what can we say about the Algarve. Over 300 days of sunshine on average ( I believe). Warm winters and even warmer summers. Beautiful uncrowded beaches with clear un-polluted waters of the Atlantic. Friendly locals, fantastic restaurants, good prices, wonderful scenery. The Algarve is made of memories and dreams. No wonder we decided to move here. The unspoilt westcoast has such majestic panoramas. Jeep tours are provided by us to have the chance to see this really amazing area.
Aljezur has museums, supermarkets, fresh fish and veg markets, local artisan shops, cafes, restaurants, garages, medical centre, pharmacy, post office, internet cafes, surf shops and magazine shops etc etc etc. Also many local festivities are organised (often are free), such as sardine festival, percebes (shell fish) festival and other events organised. There are local markets as well (Gypsy markets).
Lagos is our closest city. It has tourist shops, tourist trips, ie Dolphin watching, sailing, diving, museums, many festivals in the summer, hospitals, pharmacies etc etc etc. The Portuguese are extremely good at speaking languages especially German and English.
