The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Jardin de Alenda is on Alenda Golf Course and along the A31 Madrid road from Alicante City and 15 minutes from the airport. Turn off at the Aspe junction and you are there! Just 50 metres from Alicante's thriving city is the beautiful Marina comprising 744 berths and the nightlife around the area offers an excellent range of bars and restaurants for you to enjoy until the early hours.
BENIDORM lies to the North and its here you will find the theme parks - AQUALANDIA, MUNDOMAR and the Great Universal Theme Parks, Terra Mitika and Terra Nurture.
LES FONTS DE ALGAR (Algar Waterfalls) is not far from Terra Nurture which is an excellent day out for the family the Algar is set out like a natural water park. This is made up of the waterfalls themselves, and a series of swimming pools in which to enjoy the crystal waters.
ELCHE is 23km inland from Alicante and has over 300,000 officially protected palm trees in the city that lend it a somewhat exotic air. These palms are evident on every street corner and can be especially enjoyed in the well-tended city park.
Rio Safari Park located on the Elche - Santa Pola road is a great day out. The park has a wide range of animals on display as well as swimming pools and water slides. This is the closest of 3 Safari Parks within an hours drive of the villa.
BUSOT is 24 km northeast from Alicante. These prehistoric caves are located near the town of Busot and the interior of the caves features a very high roof, resembling that of a cathedral. The area also offers its visitors an excellent choice of hiking/walking routes, offering unparalleled views across the region.
DESAFIO MEDIEVAL (Medieval Jousting) is located in Alfaz Castle just 3km from Benidorm in the town of Alfaz de Pi. The evening’s entertainment consists of jousting and swordplay acted out by experienced stuntmen/actors dressed as knights, while you dine on a medieval banquet.
Alicante / Montforte Del Cid area
ALENDA has a brand new state of the art clubhouse with both lunch and evening dining facilities, you can sit on the terrace and look out over the fairway at the magnificent scenary. There is also a new supermaket to cater for all your daily requirements.
ASPE is a 10 min drive from the villa. There are 3 large modern supermarkets, many shops, bars and restaurants, a daily produce market (meat,fish, fruit & veg) and a twice weekly street market. Ideal for walking in the hills mountain biking and relaxing. Great local produce, good local wine @ 60p a bottle and friendly locals.
ALICANTE MARINA offers a touch of luxury during your visit to Alicante where you can have a taste of the finer things in life. With its modern El Puerto complex housing stylish bars and refined restaurants there's plenty to do for all the family.
SANTA POLA is 18km from Alicante with the most impressive castles and fortresses in the area. At night the plaza comes alive as all the locals meet to chat. The resort has 6 beaches, all with golden sand and a fully operational fishing port and sports marina and the Saturday market, near the park is a bargain hunter’s paradise.

Further details indoors: DOWNSTAIRS The house is tastefully decorated in cream with white furniture with all the facilities you would expect from a property of this type. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would have at home. The terrace is accessed via full width patio doors and has a good quality white wooden dining furniture allowing you to dine alfresco. A gas barbeque is also available for your use and there is a small garden area laid with gravel so you can play volleyball, badminton or use one of the four sun loungers to top up your tan.
UPSTAIRS Up the marble stairs is the master bedroom with double bed, fitted wardrobes and en suite bathroom with gold fittings and walk-in shower. The terrace is equipped with a table and chairs for four. The two other bedrooms have two single beds and also French balconies overlooking the golf course.
In general the house benefits from a lot of natural light due to the large windows and although having air conditioning, it remains cool by opening the large patio doors and windows to the front. This allows the breeze blowing in from the golf course to maintain a cool temperature. Also being at the end of the terrace makes this house more sought after because it ensures that it has a larger garden and more privacy.
Further details outdoors: ALENDA GOLF There is a fantastice new clubhouse with beautiful views over the golf course. It has a bar and offers food at lunchtimes and the evening. There is also a driving range, putting green and golf clubs can be hired and lessons booked. Alenda Golf is only a 15 minute drive from Alicante airport and are an additional five golf courses within a 35 minute drive from there which should prove to be more than enough for the enthusiasts.

'The house is a delight. It is spacious, well equipped and very comfortable. The swimming pool is very convenient and there is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. The drive into Alicante and surrounding towns is not difficult and we had no problems getting about by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a great time at your villa, the house was lovely and the girls had a great time at the pool. It was also great to get picked up at the airport and Jeanin was a brilliant help, she told us of loads of places to go from beaches to restaurants.
