Jasmin is a beautiful traditional style villa sleeping 4 in 2 large bedrooms, with large bathroom, lounge, new kitchen and a very large covered private terrace. It has UK satellite TV, heating for the winter months, barbecue, and it's own private garden. Set in a private resort with 3 other rental villas, each villa is secluded from the others. Located 20 minutes from Alicante and the beaches. La Datcha offers complete tranquillity set in the hills above Alicante. There are 2 shared large pools, a gym and sauna, private bar and extensive gardens full of exotic plants and trees.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

The Costa Blanca offers something for everyone. The white sandy beaches stretch forever, between the northern towns and way down south. Alicante is the capital and is by far the best location. Avoid Benidorm and Torrevieja if you don't like Brits Abroad!

The Costa Blanca, with its wonderful beaches attracts millions of tourists every year. In the north the Costa Blanca starts with Denia and Javea, two wonderful towns at the bottom of a mountain.

In the south the Costa Blanca goes down to Guardamar and Torrevieja. With such wonderful cities like Elche, the palm tree capital of the world.

You can basically travel along the Costa Blanca as the carretera national goes all way alongside the coast.

There are many attractions along the Costa Blanca, some of them specially for tourists like the entertainment park Terra Mitica at Benidorm or the bays of Altea and Calpe. Others are smaller towns and villages like Villajoyosa just south of Benidorm, famous for its old town and its chocolate.

Alicante area

Alicante itself is a great city, day time and night time. It has everything that a great city should have plus the sea. The Marina and old town blend perfectly.

The beaches at San Juan, El Campello and Alicante are all 20 minutes away by car. San Juan is the best beach, 7 miles long and quite wide, you'll never feel crowded. And there are plenty of good restaurants and bars here too.

There are 8 golf courses with an hour of La Datcha. The nearest is Alenda, 20 minutes away. Long par 5s, testing par 4s and very tricky par 3s make Alenda a real test. But there are plenty more choices.

Our holiday resort is on the outskirts of San Vicente del Raspeig, a traditional Spanish town with great tapas bars, local shops and markets.

Alicante itself is just 20 minutes away, taxis are easy to get from the resort. Alicante offers many historical landmarks - the Santa Barbara Castle is a must.

There is the large Marina, excellent stylish shopping and a vast selection of restaurants. If you like seafood, this is the place to be.

Alicante is not overly "touristica" either, so it has kept its stylish feel and ambience, and not given in to Brits Abroad!

A Variety of Shopping too - Alicante has the stylish, trendy boutiques and stores. But is the surrounding areas you will find porceline shops where you'l want to buy tableware for your dinner parties at home.

Great wine shops, known as Bodegas, offer a vast array of local Spanish wines. Once you've tried some of them, you probably won't drink Rioja again. The Spanish are clever, we only export the wines we don't drink at home!

How to get there

Alicante airport is only 10 kms away on the new motorway. Alicante is serviced by easyjet, Ryanair, Thomson, Monarch, British Airways, Vueling and many more.

The villa is fully furnished and contains everything you need for a great stay. A large terrace makes outside dining a pleasure, with great views too. Each villa is individually sytled but offer a very high standard of clean and well maintained accommodation. There is an additional 2 bed villa, a 3 bed villa and a 1 bed villa offering a choice of accommodation.

Wander through the extensive gardens and admire the vast array of exotic and rare plant life and trees. We have 2 good sized pools - the main pool is for everyone, and the 2nd pool can be used as a quiet pool depending on the guests' needs. There are sun loungers for everyone and plenty of terraces to sun bathe or read. Both pool terraces have tables and chairs where you can relax with other guests if you choose. And the central terrace has a bar for every day use, with lower than usual bar prices too.
