About the home

Excellent well placed 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms apartment which was fully renovated in 2010. The apartment is located on the 6th floor and has wonderful views over San Juan beach and Mediterranean sea.

Ideally suits families or small groups in the summertime or longer term stay seeking for our mild winter.

Comprising:

* Living room: dining table for 6, double sofa bed, tv, dvd...
* Very well equiped kitchen: microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle, hob and oven.
* One double bedroom.
* One twin bedded room.
* Two tiled bathroom with shower.
* One on floor 7m. square balcony with sea views and garden furniture.

This apartment is perfectly situated in the seafront street in San Juan beach where one can enjoy swimming, walks or take the children to the play ground placed on the sand.

Carrabiners city train station is just a couple of minutes walk from the house and this line takes just 10 minutes in one direction to Alicante center and 40 minutes in the other direction to Benidorm or Altea.

The apartment is placed just in San Juan beach, a 10 km long open beach with very high-quality fine sands located in an area with lots of services. All along the beachfront there are all kinds of restaurants and beach bars, some of which are actually on the beach itself.

Very well served by bus (number 21) and city train links to Alicante center and Alicante Golf Course. This same train takes you to Campello, Benidorm or Altea.

When you book the apartment, you will need to pay the 20 % of the total amount in advance as a deposit to secure booking. Then, you will need to pay the other 80 % of the total amount four weeks before arrival.

Security deposit:

In 14-day stays or shorter, the security deposit is € 100. The security deposit will be given back to you at the end of the rental period.

In 15-day stays or longer, the security deposit is € 150. The cost of gas, light and water will be deducted from the security deposit.

You need to add € 40 to the prices listed up for start & end-cleaning, plus € 10 per person linen.

Week to include Christmas day, New Year holiday or Easter please add € 100.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Alicante is placed in the east coast of Spain. The Costa Blanca is well known for it´s fantastic climate, it´s beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. There is a bus and a city train in front of the apartment that takes you to near cities like BENIDORM, the funniest and most cosmopolitan city of Costa Blanca ( just 25 minutes away) where is placed the exciting Terra Mitica theme park, the superb water park Aqualandia and Mundomar (the sea life centre), or ALTEA, a bohemian white village (just 40 minutes drive or by train).

The Alicante / San Juan Beach area

The apartment is located in the area of San Juan Beach which is, without any doubt, one of the best beaches on the Costa Blanca.

San Juan beach is a long, open beach about 10 kilometres in length and with an average width of 85 meters. With kilometres of beach on the doorstep and a superb year round climate you may want to take some time out to walk, relax and spend some time lounging on the warm sand admiring the Mediterranean.

Boasting beachfront restaurants, bars, cafés and pubs, the San Juan Beach is also known for its selection of any water sport you can imagine!

There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas (abundance of night life, dinner shows, bars and restaurants, shopping malls, fishing, diving, water sports...).

“NICE BRIGHT SPACIOUS APARTMENT” nice bright spacious apartment-well situated for beach and public transport to other areas. carmen that met us with the keys was very welcoming and helpful. would have to be very careful with young children because of the height of the balcony railings

“Lovely appartment with amaizing seewiev” The appartment offert all we need. Its have a amazing wiev from the balkoni. The location was very good. There is shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. It is very easy to take the tram to Alicante or El Campello, and not expencive. Very good service from the owner and her friends.

“Lovely apartment with ocean views close to transportation.” We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. There are great ocean views from both the living room and the master bedroom. We could hear the sound of the ocean inside. The apartment itself was clean and cozy. We were able to do laundry and hang it on clothesline outside window. I also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen. The beach is just across a small one-way street. There is also a tram stop right there. (The tram is an electric train.) You can easily ride the tram into downtown Alicante, which we did several times. It is more economical to buy a 10-ride pass if you will be riding several times. We had a car so we drove to a local Carrefours grocery store, but there is also a store in walking distance. The area was very quiet when we were there, but I imagine it would be much livelier in warmer weather. I do wish it had wifi.

“A good location for a quiet winter break on the sea front” A 6th floor appartment in a well kept 14 storey block with two lifts, good security and a resident caretaker. Located in a quiet residential area on the the sea front with wide sandy beach and pleasant promenade. Good view of the beach from the good sized balcony. It is only 50 metres to the Tram stop which provides an inexpensive, regular service to Alicante (very Spanish city, safe, more students than tourists) El Capello, Benidorm (an hour away) and beyond. Many of the resturants were closed in winter but it was not hard to find those that were open in the locality and the nearby supermarket was open till 9pm. For a winter break the weather was warm ( by UK experience) in the day but cool/cold at night and a heater was needed for some evenings. Joanna was very helpful and available by texting, her representatives on arrival were very welcoming and delightful. For us it represented a good value venue to get away for a quiet break with some warmth and sight seeing. We booked a car at the airport but given the excellent bus and Tram services it was unnecessary.

“Great Location!” The service that we received from Joana was second to none! All of our questions about the area were answered and Joana went out of her way to put together emails for us with lots of recommendations on where to eat and visit. The villa was clean and comfortable, and we could not have asked for a better location. We slept each night listening to the waves coming ashore. We sat on the balcony at sunset each evening before we walked 20 yards to the tram to take us to the city. There was only two of us, but the villa could accommodate 4 to 6 easily. We really loved the location and will not rent a car next time we go. We wished the villa had internet

“Apartment on beach. Tram stop, shop and restaurants all within 3 min walk” We had a most enjoyable holiday in Alicante, the apartment was a big success with us all. We stayed here from 10th-17th November 2011, we were delighted that the beach was so close and that the apartment balcony offered a lovely view at breakfast time that enticed us to go swimming (weather was 21/22C every day). We swam all but one day at least once. We played football and beach bats on the sand and could run over to the apartment at any time to get towels etc. We practically had the beach to ourselves, my nephew (10 year old) and myself were swimming into the dark one night and he got a huge thrill from this. Having the tram station so close was effortless, we visited Alicante a few days, walked around the port and viewed the Santisima Trinidad boat, went up to the Castillo de Santa Barbara, went to watch Hercules (local football team) play Murcia in Estadio José Rico Perez and walked the Rambla and had some gorgeous helados and good food in the restaurants. Another day we walked to El Campello along the paved pedestrianised promenade, we managed to get dinner in a restaurant when we got there before the usual opening time of 8pm which we were very happy with as normally places remain closed to this time. We got the tram back afterwards. My sister's 4 month old baby got loads of attention and was doted on at every turn, was quite amusing. The atmosphere was very relaxed in general as November would be a very quiet time of the year here. There was a good local supermarket 5 min walk away and plenty of restaurants and bars locally. A pharmacy was open next door. Overall we were delighted with our stay, we got the weather and the apartment was perfect for us. In a quiet area where there seemed to be a good local resident population without the impersonal highrise dominated locations that can be seen elsewhere along the coast.

“Beautiful beach view apartment” Myself and my boyfriend stayed at the San Juan Beachfront apartment in Sept 2011 and loved it! It has fantastic views of the picturesque San Juan Beach which goes on for miles and miles and just what we were looking for in a relaxing holiday. The area itself was quiet for this time of year consisting of mainly Spanish tourists but there is a tram right along the beach front which will bring you into the lovely old town of Alicante in approx 10/15mins away or El Campello in 10mins. The trams are so handy and accessible and very cheap at just over one euro. The stop for the apartment is 'Carribeners'. The apartment itself is a charming place with one double room and two single beds in second room. There are two toilets, kitchen with everything supplied, living room and the balcony to look at the gorgeous views. It is very clean and we could not have asked for more. There is a Supermarket five min walk from apartment. There are some cafe bars along the beach front and a couple of resturants but we ate every night either in Alicante or El Campello both only approx 10mins away on tram. There is a beautiful Italian resturant in El Campello on beachfront definately worth a visit!! There is a huge range of resturants in old town Alicante with everyone eating outside..very quaint! We rented the apartment lastminute from the owners Joana and Mark who i have to say were extremely helpful and reliable. We booked the flight and apartment the day before we flew out to Alicante and Joana and Mark reassured that everything was in order and kept in contact with us by text and email and had even organised our taxi for 5am for our early flight home. Joana is Spanish and Mark is Irish..as we did not speak Spanish Joana was able to organise alot of things for us and give us advice on where to go etc. They are lovely people to deal with and i received my deposit back within a couple of days arriving home. If your looking for fantastic beach on your door step and relaxing holiday with sun, sea and good food then San Juan Beachfront apartment is for you!
