The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
Alicante is the hub of the Costa Blanca with easy access to most areas of interest in the region.
Elche - a charming town only 15 minutes away famous for the Europe's biggest palm garden. Best of all is the Safari Park. There are also many shops, bars and restaurants.
La isla de Tabarca - is a small island which is around eleven miles from Alicante, but you will discover there a small fishermen village which was walled and still you can find remainings of its ancient walls. There are various beachfront restaurants serving traditional food. Boat trips from Alicante port take about one hour. One of them is Cruceros Kon-Tiki katamaran.
Benidorm Palace - a venue for variety shows, cultural events and business conferences.
Mundomar Marine Exotic Animal Park - a park area with a dolphinarium, penguins, a galleon and much more. There is something for everyone.
Aqualandia - a water park with various large water slides, wave pool and many other areas for fun.
Terra Mitica - a theme park with rides for all ages and attractions.
For nature lovers and people into trekking there are several places well worth a visit such as:
Sierra Helada - with breathtaking views over Benidorm bay, ideal for hiking, recently designated as a protected area, a mountain range with sea cliffs soaring 300 m above sea level.
Guadalest - a charming medieval town with fortress atop a mountain and spectacular views of the surrounding area.
Cuevas de Canelobre - caves, situated near town of Busot, located at 630m above sea level. The cave is 150m long and 50m high. It contains many dripstones, some of them looking like a candelabra, which gave the cave its name.
Fuentes del Algar - the waterfalls of Algar is a natural beauty spot set high in the mountains behind Altea. Walk the paths alongside the beautiful river as it tumbles down the mountain, and swim in its pools and waterfalls. It is accessed from Callosa den Saria village.
Cactuslandia - a private botanical garden dedicated to cacti and succulents as well as tropical fruit trees. The garden is situated between Altea and Calpe.
Alicante / Montforte Del Cid area
Alenda Golf opened fully in 1999 and offers a splendid 18 hole golf course, PAR 72 and 6257 metres, on a mountain course overlooking the sea.
There are over fifteen 18 hole golf courses in the Costa Blanca overall, all within 1 to 2 hours drive of the apartment.
There are several beaches within a short drive and Alicante marina is a wonderful place to visit for a meal in one of the many quality restaurants or just for a drink.
How to get there
Alicante airport is serviced by various low cost airlines such as Monarch or Easyjet. Murcia San Javier airport is only around 45 minutes away.
It's only a 15 to 20 minute drive from Alicante airport to Alenda Golf following Madrid direction motorway signs and full directions will be sent with your information pack.
Ideally you shold rent a car to get the full benfit of your stay in the Costa Blanca. Alternatively, we can arrange pick up by our local management team or you can take a taxi from the airport.

Further details indoors: The apartment has a light and airy feel (generous 92 sq meters in size) and comprises of a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and 2 single beds. Family bathroom and second twin bedroom. Well furnished spacious property, not the usual developers furniture pack. You never need worry that it may be too hot during the summer days or even too nippy in the evenings - there is hot and cold air conditioning.
Our home is cared for by a family run team and is regularly cleaned and maintained to a high standard.
