A pretty townhouse well equipped and furnished. Ideal for both Family and Golfing holidays.
The nearest beach is at Urbanova, 15 mins drive although many more are within 20 - 25 mins drive e.g Carabassi Beach at Gran Alacant, Postiquet Beach in Alicante and Llevanti Beach at Santa Pola. Alternatively you can relax and sunbathe on the Roof Terrace on one of the 4 sun loungers with beautiful views over the mountains.
The house also has a large marble gravelled patio to the front with seating and a table for enjoying al fresco dining and a private balcony off the Master bedroom furnished with wicker table & chair.
The local bar is only 5 minutes walk as is the Community Pool and for only 2 euros per person per day you will get sunbeds and a parosol.
There are 5 Golf courses nearby, the closest being only 2 mins drive - Alenda Golf - and 4 others within 20 mins drive - Font Del LLop near Monforte Del Cid, Alicante Golf, Bonalba Golf and El Plantio Golf. Full details can be supplied with booking details if required.
2 sets of graphite shafted Golf Clubs are available for you to use on request complete with trolley bags, towels, umbrellas! & tees.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region


ALICANTE is the second largest city in the Valencian Region and is situated on the coast and surrounded by mountainous terrain well as beautiful beaches. Alicante town has theatres, cinemas, numerous restaurants, bars, and night-clubs as well as the beautiful promenade along by the marina.
The city is built on two ancient Roman settlements, one of which gives the city its nickname The City of Light. These remains are constantly being discovered during road-building and construction. There is also much remaining evidence, in the form of ruins, culture, and language, of the long occupation by the Moors.
The beautiful fishing port of SANTA POLA is 18kms from Alicante. At night the plaza comes alive as all the locals meet to chat. The resort has 6 beaches, all with golden sand and a fully operational fishing port and sports marina and the Saturday market is a bargain hunter’s paradise.
BENIDORM is approx 40mins drive north or you can take the train or bus if you do not drive. There are many attractions which include Terra Mitica - one of Europe's finest Theme Parks, Mundomar, Aqualandia Water Park & Terra Nature - something for every member of the family!
RIO SAFARI PARK, located on the Elche - Santa Pola road is a great day out. The park has a wide range of animals on display as well as swimming pools and water slides.
The Alicante / Monte Cid area
EL REBOLLEDO is the nearest town and less than 5 minutes drive from the house. The town has a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery and garage. There are also several bars and restaurants.
How about a visit to the beautiful SANTA BARBARA castle in the morning, a spot of lunch in one of Alicante Old Town's many shady squares, followed by the beach in the afternoon and a leisurely stroll along the promenade and marina in the evening? Sounds tempting? These are just some of the attractions of Alicante itself.
A superb day out, the tiny island of TABARCA, just 10 miles south of Alicante, which Charles III fortified and settled with Genoese prisoners in the 18th century (Italian surnames are still to be found in the churchyard as proof of this!) is situated just a 30 minute ferry ride out to sea from Santa Pola. You can also catch a ferry from Alicante (by the Marina) to Tabarca.
ASPE is a 10 min drive with 3 large modern supermarkets, many shops, bars and restaurants, a daily produce market (meat,fish, fruit & veg) and a twice weekly street market. Ideal for walking in the hills mountain biking and relaxing.
ALENDA GOLF is only 2-3 minutes drive away. It is an 18 hole,72 par golf course. There is also a driving range and putting green www.alendagolf.com

Fly to Alicante the airport which is serviced by various low cost airlines such as BMI Baby, Jet2, Ryanair & Easyjet and is only 15km away from Casa Bonita.
It's only a 15 minute drive from Alicante airport to Casa Bonita following Madrid direction motorway signs and full directions will be sent with your information pack.
Ideally you should rent a car to get the full benefit of your stay in the Costa Blanca. This can be for as little as 20 euros a day!

Went away for a weeks climbing holiday Jan 2012, the house was perfect for the 5 of us to explore all of the different climbing spots around Alicante as well as some more areas all over the Costa Blanca. Great communication with Angela the owner, she was very helpful at all times. Good that the property wasn't in a big city so it made getting around quick and easy, with the autovia only being 5 mins away. |

We really enjoyed our stay in this location. It's in a nice quiet village away from the main tourist areas. I had a bit of trouble finding it though and got there very late. You really need a car as it is a little out of the way. The community bar and pool are great if you don't feel like venturing far and the roof terrace is great for sunbathing. We found we were fairly central for most of the tourist attractions and even managed two day trips to Benidorm and a fantastic snorkelling excursion to Tabarca Island. Alicante is just a stones throw away, once you get used to the roads. I wasn't very good with directions! The house had great facilities including a washing machine , two bathrooms and pleanty of bedroom and cupboard space which is great for a family. The kitchen space is a little small if you are catering for a family but we managed OK, as we couldn't afford to eat out that often. I thought the provision of a cold bag for picnics was a great additional touch as we used this for most of our excursions. The children also enjoyed playing chess and we watched some DVDs and TV. A real home from home. Thanks also to Nick and Sue who rescued me very late at night, helped me sort out my mobile phone and showed me where the local supermarket was. Myself and four friends stayed at this lovely well equipped town house for 8 nights in early September this year. We were lucky enough to stay during a heatwave but I understand good weather is quite common at this time of year. The house felt spacious and roomy enough for the 5 people with plenty of room on the roof terrace and in the enclosed front area for sunbathing, relaxing in the shade or sharing a beer. We didn't do any cooking as there are so many restaurants to try in Alicante but it looked equipped enough should you want to. A car is necessary for a stay in the urbanisation as there is no shop on site. The airport is 20 mins drive, Alicante 15 mins and our favourite beach Arenales del Sol 25 mins. We loved this beach as it has clean deep sand, a great beach bar and lots of waves for swimming. Alicante is very beautiful with lovely shops, promenade, marina and old town to explore. The owner is lovely, booking was easy - we spoke on the phone and exchanged plenty of emails. The caretakers who live close by are friendly and very helpful. We met quite a few locals at the bar on the urbanisation too who were all very friendly and welcoming. All the neighbours like to say hello as do the many local pet dogs (from behind their gates). I recommend the local golf club for amazing Tapas lunch at a very good price with a smashing view. Response: Thank you I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay.
