Situated on Alhaurin Golf course in Alhaurin el Grande, this well equipped, air conditioned apartment with one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge is ideal for a family, couples and golfers. It has Spanish and English satellite TV, DVD player and communal swimming pool.

The apartment has two balconies, one from the master bedroom and the other accessed from the lounge. They provide magnificent views across the golf course and the surrounding mountainside.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

With its warm winters and glorious summers the Costa del Sol has something for everybody - it is ideal for families, couples and golfers.

There are many fantastic beaches and marinas within easy reach including Torremolinos (30mins), Benalmadena (30 mins), Fuengirola (20 mins), La Cala (20 mins), Marbella (30 mins) and Puerta Banus (40 mins). Boat trips can be taken from the marinas and both Torremolinos and Fuengirola have excellent water parks.

For those willing to travel further afield (1½ - 2 hrs) the beautiful cities of Granada with the magnificent Alhambra Place, Sevilla and Cordoba make for an excellent day out. The drive to Ronda, a stunning cliff top town set astride the awesome 100m deep El Tajo gorge amid the beautiful Serrania de Ronda mountains, is spectacular. Gibraltar with its tax free shopping is also well worth a visit.

For the golfers there are over 20 golf courses within 40 mins, each with its own unique features.

Other local activities include horse riding, tennis, bowls, quad biking and walking.

Alhaurin Golf Resort area

Alhaurin Golf course, designed by Seve Ballesteros, is a challenging hill-side course with impressive views over the Mijas mountains and the Mediterranean sea. As well as the 18 hole par 72 course there is a 9 hole par 3 course and an excellent driving range and practice ground. Visitors are welcome to join the members for competitions.

The typically Spanish town of Alhaurin el Grande is a 5 min drive away and has a large selection of cafes and restaurants as well as shops, banks, internet cafes etc.

Mijas, a very attractive white Andalucian village with narrow streets, panoramic views and whitewashed houses covered with bougainvillea and jasmine, is only a 10 min dirve. It is a very popular attraction with its famous donkey taxis, horse-drawn carriages, gift shops, café bars and magnificent views across to the Mediterranean.

From the entrance to the Golf Resort there is a regular bus service to Mijas, Fuengirola and Alhaurin.

How to get there

Nearest airport - Malaga.

Alhaurin Golf is situated 28km from the airport, a 30 min drive.

Taxis and car rentals are easily available at the airport.

Conditions

Change over day is normally Sunday, but depending on availability other days will be considered.

£100 deposit to be paid at time of booking with balance being paid 1 month before departure.

A security deposit of £60 is to be paid upon arrival. This is required in case of breakages/damage to property and will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection of property at the end of the stay.
