Home description
This Andalucian style house has a spacious feel, is well-equipped and stylishly furnished, it is south west facing so the private terrace gets lots of sunshine. Apart from on-site golf there is tennis and horse riding nearby. The area is also ideal for country walks and cycling.
There are some very good Spanish restaurantsfrom fine dining to light lunches all reasonably priced within walking distance, and the famous white village of Mijas is nearby, as is the modern shopping complex of La Trocha. So whatever you require it is on hand!!

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Whatever type of holiday your looking for the Costa Del Sol has it! Ideal for families and couples alike. There are many golf courses and beautiful beaches and water parks, country walks, bustling towns, for shopping and night life and of course the local tapas renowned the world over.
The weather is hot in summer and warm in winter, however a two hour drive will take you to Sierra Nevada where the skiing is fabulous.
Alhaurin Golf Resort area
The word Alhaurin derives from ancient Arabic meaning 'God's Garden' so the surrounding area is great for country walks, horse riding and golf. there are some good restaurants and bars within a short walk.
There is a 4-star hotel nearby and you can access the facilities there, i.e., tennis, gym, for a very small fee. They also have a very good restaurant, bar and pool. Mijas and Coin are close by for modern shops, etc. The nearest beach is La Cala which is a small but classy resort about a fifteen minute drive, there is a lively street market on saturdays there as well. There is a small supermarket on site were you can buy fresh local produce, there is also a petrol station with a shop within a five minute walk where you can buy hot crusty bread and fresh fruit and vegatables.
How to get there
From Malaga Airport take the N340 signposted for Cadiz. Then take the E15 A7 for Algeciras, cadiz or Fuengirola, for about 25km. Exit at 214 signposted Fuengirola/Mijas then very soon the road will fork, follow sign 213 when you reach a roundabout turn right to Mijas.When you reach a BP petrol station turn left at the roundabout then immediately right at the next signposted Alhaurin el Grande.Stay on this road for about 8km until you see Alhaurin Golf on your left.Enter Alhaurin Golf turn right at roundabout, follow road down to next roundabout take the third exit. You are now in Almenar Golf, you need to find no20 and phone Alessandra.
