The apartment is situated on the Alhaurin Golf complex, the 18 hole golf course itself having been designed by Seve Ballesteros. The lively town of Alhaurin el Grande is within easy access offering a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Mijas and the coastal resorts of La Cala and Fuengirola are also a short drive away.
The apartment benefits from superb views overlooking the golf course, a large double patio, private gardens and a communal pool which means its not only enjoyable for golfing holidays but also an excellent base for non golfers and families with children alike.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol offers a great range of activities, it's great for families, golfers and couples. The apartment is located between Alhaurin el Grande and Mijas approximately 30 minutes from Malaga airport. The regions coastal resorts include Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Benelmadena and Mijas Costa which have wonderful beaches and fabulous shopping places.
Those looking for something more energetic will find plenty of good golf courses, horse riding, tennis and watersports. If you are looking for history then look no further than Gibraltar, the beautiful Alhambra Palace in Granda and the historical areas of Malaga and the old town which are within driving distance.
Also close by is Marbella, which is definitely worth a visit in both the main region and the old town.
Alhaurin Golf Resort area
The Alhaurin Golf resort designed by Seve Ballesteros is situated between Alhaurin el Grange and Mijas, it is surrounded by pine forests and the hills of the Mijas mountains. The main golf course is an 18 hole Par 72, there is also a 18 hole junior course and a golf school providing practising facilities, a driving range plus putting greens.
The clubhouse has a pro shop, bar and restaurant offering all day dining from a fantastic menu. The picturesque town of Mijas is about 15 minutes drive away further up the mountain, while the beaches of La Cala and Fuengirola are all within easy reach and short drives away.
There is also a regular bus service from outside the main gate, which will take you down into Fuengirola, buses leave half hourly during the day. Also close by is the busy town of Alhaurin de la Torres, and the Golf complex of Lauro Golf which offers a clubhouse to book your local golf, a restaurant and nearby hotel.
How to get there
Fly direct to Malaga from most UK airports. Cheap flights are available from EasyJet, Monarch and currently Air Lingus. Alhaurin Golf is approximately 24km from Malaga airport, along the N340 coast road signposted for Cadiz, exiting on the Fuengirola-Coin road MA 426.
Follow the road through Alhaurin de la Torre and a further 8km through the town of Alhaurin El Grande, then follow signs for Fuengirola, Alhaurin Golf is approximately 3km from Alhaurin El Grande town centre. When you reach the BP petrol station at the roundabout, take the 3rd turning, go up the hill for less than 1km, and the entrance to Alhaurin Golf complex is on the right.
Car hire is recommended, (Europecar/hertz rentacar seem to be the best budget rentals) you can book in advance and collect from the airport, otherwise you can take a taxi up to the complex from Malaga airport for about 30 euro's. Further details indoors: The property has also 2 single chairs which change into comfortable beds, along with the double sofa bed, therefore being able to sleep up to 6 people.
The patio area leads straight into the garden which in turn leads onto the pool area, all within a gated and secure complex, therefore very safe for children.
Further details outdoors: Exterior facilities include local shop where you can buy everything you need on a day to day basis like fresh bread(baked daily) drinks, foods, newspapers, and household items.
For golfers there is the clubhouse just moments walk which has a club shop, bar and restaurant. bookings for the course can also be booked at the hotel. The entire complex is within a gated area surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens, and you'll need a key to access the parking area and also a key for the pedestrian entrance (Included).
There is also a lift so as wheelchair access is made very easy from the car park down to the ground floor where the apartment is. Also within a short walk is the Alhaurin Golf Hotel, which has a pool, restaurant and internet access. There are plenty of riding stables situated close by in Alhaurin el Grande also.

Conditions
Prices may be subject to change at owners discretion. Minimum rental period is usually 7 days. Changeover day is normally Saturday.
A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking, balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to departure. In addition a security deposit of £100 is required, this will be refunded upon a final inspection of the apartment.
Longer winter lets available on request.

Just a short note to say thank you so much for renting out your lovely apartment to us. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and my partner and his son had a great game of golf - albeit the hardest course they've ever played!
We thought your apartment was stunning, clean, spacious, great value for money and in an excellent position. We will not hesitate to recommend it and hope to book again some time. If you ever need a good reference or testimonial for your website, we would be more than happy to provide one.
Just to let you know we had 2 great meals at 'The Boma' - great hospitality and food.
The only thing I would say is it would be a good idea to remind people to bring their Sky card out with them as it was such an 'awesome TV' (my 11 year old daughter's words!) but only if you could speak Spanish! Not that we missed the TV as we were having such a lovely time.
