At approx. 20 minutes drive are the fashionable coastal resorts and beaches of Marbella, Puerta Banus, La Cala, Fuengirola and Benalmadena together with their many attractions and exciting night life.

Further afield and well worth the cultural and historical visit are Gibralta, Seville, Ronda, Cordoba, Nerja, Granada's Alhambra Palace and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada.
