The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Located between Alhaurin el Grande, a bustling Spanish town, and picturesque Mijas on the ALHAURIN DE GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB.
The Sierra des Nievas mountain range - a natural reserve, is well known for walking, birdwatching and wildlife. Explore the mountain trails and famous beautiful white villages and Lake district.within 1 hour drive.
20mins from buzzing Marbella and Porto Banus, and beaches.
Horse-riding is a natural Andalucian sport and there are plenty of stables in the area - 3 within 5 mins.
Lots of good local restaurants, markets and nightlife - if that's what you want.
Historic towns like Tolox, Mijas, Alora are short distance, Cordoba, Granada and Jerez are 90mins drive and well worth a days visit.

ALHAURIN GOLF VILLAGE, is a cluster of newly built Apartments, Villas, Townhouses and Duplexes - all designed to similate a village atmosphere and give a variety of different accommodation.
There are 4 distinct types of residential 'suburbs' - the Terrazas - traditional style of yellow ocre apartments which are known as the largest and most spacious with good terraces. Atalaya is more like a small white Pueblo within its own gated community and gardens - usually 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom; Maisonettes, and all sharing a large pool.Pueblo Andalus is again a white pueblo village atmosphere away from the other two and has its own gated community sharing two pools in a waterfall landscaped design, there are 3 bedroom apartments and duplexes here.
Joining Atalaya with Pueblo Andalus is a long road with Villas running parallel to the golf course.
Built on the side of a lush green valley facing the Siera de Mijas range, it is a stunning location as the mountains change colour at different times of the day. Within the valley is the golf course. Wonderful if you play golf, if not, still wonderful to look at.
Just 10mins away is Mijas Pueblo, known for its beautiful white Spanish houses snuggled tightly against the mountain range of the Sierra de Mijas.
Alhaurin el Grande is 7 mins drive away and is a lively bustling Spanish town with many shops selling local produce, Bars, Restaurants, pretty squares, churches, and traditional Spanish housing.

The apartment block is low rise, spacious and well built with plenty of wardrobe space. It has a gated entrance and secure. On the balcony there are wind down sun blinds for those very hot days.
It is a quiet residential area and it is never crowded even during the peak holiday season.
