El Corcho Villa with swimming POOL and HOT TUB - all areas are private and for the sole use of the villa guests - sleeps up to 4 in two bedrooms. La Bellota with private HOT TUB - all areas are private and for the sole use of the villa guests - sleeps 2 guests.
El Corcho Villa and La Bellota are registered with The ANDALUCIA TOURIST BOARD and are individually set overlooking peaceful, private woodland perfect for artists, bird watchers or just people who enjoy beautiful countryside. The access to both the properties is by tarmac roads and lanes right up to the gates - each has their own private access and secure off road parking space. The property has satellite TV with UK channels, Spanish TV, is double glazed and has wireless internet. It is air-conditioned for the summer and has full central heating together with A/C heating for the winter.
The heated pool facility is a private hot tub. Open all year round.
The private and self contained grounds of La Bellota include a beautiful BBQ patio area surrounded with plants and fruit trees which is set in the dappled shade of an Oak tree. It has a gas barbecue, table and chairs - a fantastic place to enjoy the wonderful views across the valley. This leads to the soft "English type" lawn with colourful flowers and further on to the "Top of the Range" Hot Tub /Jacuzzi. The subtle underwater lighting makes a dip in the hot tub, under the clear sky and stars, a wonderful way to end the day. The hot tub is controlled by the guests so that it can be heated for the winter, cool and refreshing for the summer. La Bellota, the garden and patio areas have fantastic views to the Sierra de Mijas, Sierra de Nevada and across to the nearby village of Alhaurin El Grande.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
There are many typical white villages to see, ranging from the sleepy village of Tolox to the bustling village of Mijas with its donkeys, souvenir shops and fantastic views across to the coast and Africa (on a clear day). Some cities and towns within driving distance that are well worth a visit :- The ancient town of Ronda (1 hour) is built across a gorge and gives some wonderful "photo" opportunities. Granada (1 hour 45 minutes) is a beautiful city with the Alhambra Palace and the nearby ski resort of Sierra Nevada. Malaga (30 minutes) with wonderful parks, gardens, the new Picasso Museum and fascinating food market. Sevilla (3 hours) with its beautiful architecture, gardens, shops and restaurants. Visit Gibraltar (1 hour 30 minutes) to see the Apes on the rock and to experience "a little bit of England" with the English Policemen, letter boxes and shops.
Alhaurin El Grande / Urique area
Within walking distance of La Bellota, approximately 1.5kms, there are a few country bar/restaurants one of which has a swimming pool for the use of its diners.
The village of Alhaurin el Grande is a short drive or walk away, 3kms, and contains plenty of traditional Spanish life, shops, banks and a local market every Thursday. It contains mainly Spanish bars, together with some English and Irish bars, as well as some of the best restaurants in the region. You can dine out in Spanish, Italian, Seafood and quality silver service restaurants for that special occasion.

Many budget airlines serve Malaga Airport. Granada and Gibraltar Airports are also close by. We can recommend car hire.

Further details indoors: La Bellota has:- The kitchen, which is hand crafted by a local carpenter, has granite worktops and is fully fitted out with a gas oven, 4 ring hob, extractor, microwave oven, fridge freezer, cafetiere, toaster, electric kettle, t-towels, dish cloths, selection of pans, dishes, cooking utensils and cutlery. Washing machine facilities are also available. The dining area has a quality wooden table and four chairs together with a large display cabinet/book shelf which contains paperback books, magazines, information and maps on the surrounding area. In addition there is a lovely BBQ area with dappled shade from the Oak tree and fantastic views across the valley, this is furnished with table, 4 chairs and gas BBQ. The lounge with its patio doors, leading to the lawn garden, is beautifully fitted out with sofa, chair, pouffe, coffee table, display cabinet, satellite TV with UK channels, Spanish TV, CD hi-fi and beautiful pictures on the walls. The sofa in the lounge converts to a double bed.
The bedroom is beautifully fitted out with quality wooden furniture, with views from the window out across the gardens and the valley beyond to the Mijas Mountains. It has a good quality double bed, wardrobe, dressing table, chairs, hairdryer and ceiling fan light. A cot can also be provided. The spacious luxury BATHROOM with its on demand hot water (no tank) is fully tiled and has full size bath, shower, large mirror, heated towel rail, toilet and wash hand basin.
El Corcho Villa has in addition:- Second bedroom with twin beds.
Large Roof Terrace with seating and table.

We would like to thank you for your great hospitality. We have had a wonderful time here in "Andalucia" and we could not have chosen a better place to stay. "Andalucia" is a great place to have holidays especially when it reminds me about my home country. Oh... I am going to miss it so much. Now that we get back to Denmark. We Loved visiting Sevilla, Ronda and especially Granada. Alhambra is one of the most amazing places we have ever visited We are both speechless. Had a wonderful time, with sun and mellow temperatures. After -15 C at home in Norway it seemed quite tropical! The flat has been ideal for us as a base for excursions to a number of lovely places. and the Jacuzzi has been pure bliss!! Great spot and accommodation which has proved ideal for our excursions to Granada, Ronda, Antequera and a couple of days away in Costa de la Luz visiting Jerez, Medina Sedonia, Arcos to name but a few. The weather has been wall to wall sunshine for the full two weeks. The Jacuzzi was most welcome as was the pleasant surroundings.
