Stunning luxury 4 bedroom villa with large private pool. Air-con and heating to make your stay the right temperature. Roof terrace for al-fresco dining. Just minutes from the town - paradise!

Villa Mariposa is set in a picturesque location, a one level Villa ideal for all. It is landscaped and has a large sun terrace around the pool for sunbathing. On your holiday you can pick oranges, lemons, almonds and figs (when in season). It is a little tropical oasis.
With a state of the art kitchen and granite work surfaces you have the best of what Spain has to offer.

ACCOMMODATION (Sleeps 8)

3 very large double bedroom all with double beds. One with en suite facilities inc bath and shower. All have lots of storage and wardrobes.
Bedroom 4 has 2 very sturdy large bunk beds ( the kind you get on a cruise ship) they fold away separately if one person is staying.

LIVING ROOM:
Very large and comfortable living/Dining room with Satellite TV & dvd and air-con. Overlooking the terrace and swimming pool.

All around the villa are beautiful works of art painted by the owner.

KITCHEN:
A large and separate fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops, Dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, hob & double fan oven, tumble dryer, washing machine, toaster, kettle, iron & ironing board,. Also to make your stay easier there are bin bags, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, dish washer tablets, kitchen roll ,and a tea towel and dish cloth.

LINEN & TOWELS.
All bed linen and towels are provided.

OUTSIDE
Large patio with outside BBQ, table and chairs and private 10 meters by 5 meters swimming pool with roman steps, outside pool shower and toilet. summer furniture. Stairs leading to:-

To the front of the house is a large swimming pool (10m x 5m) with roman steps There are spacious terraces for eating al fresco. The house is in a picturesque location, well away from any roads or traffic. The property is fully fenced and gated with private driveway and parking spaces.

The Andalucia / Malaga Province region

The Costa del Sol stretches along just over 150 kilometres of Málaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. The area's mild climate is the root attraction that makes it possible to enjoy the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities year round. Alhaurin el Grande is a prosperous and bustling village with many local amenities. On the one hand, excellent restaurants, lively bars, modern supermarkets, even English newspapers, and on the other hand idyllic tree lined plazas with the older generation chatting and playing dominos, small hidden local bars serving traditional tapas and the feel of a real community. Alhaurin el Grande makes the ideal base for exploring the real Spain .
The Alhaurin el Grande gastronomy is ample and varied with typical plates such as: 'migas' breadcrumbs fried with garlic and 'gachas cachorreñas' porridge with spices, 'allullas', 'dolcas', patties, sauce, broths, garlic soup, and many desserts such as sponge toast and oil cakes.cakes, oil buns, fritters, macaroons, date bread, egg rusks, fried rusks,.
Nestled in the hills of the Mijas Mountain range, the Alhaurin Golf Resort is in a stunning location - just 15 minutes from the coast road to all destinations and attractions. The Alhaurín Golf resort is a unique sports and tourist development. Visiting golfers find themselves spoilt for choice, for there are 45 holes in all, 27 of which were designed by Seve Ballesteros. There is an 18 hole full-length course, a 9 hole short course and also the only 18 hole par 3 course in Andalucia. On the main course the fairways are long and narrow with greens protected by a fierce array of bunkers, lakes and gardens, but the fact that there are up to 6 different teeing areas at each hole means that the course can be adapted to any level of skill. Again for the Golf enthusiast, there are 5 different challenging courses within a 15 minute drive of the resort. Within a 50 minute drive there are the courses of Sotogrande, San Roque, Valderama and Almenara which are some of the golfing delights of the Costa del Sols 40 courses.

p.s. We loved the big roof terrace, and watched the sun go down every evening from there, gin and tonics in hand.

We had a marvelous time and found it a good base to move around from. Having said that, we were quite happy just to spend time there enjoying the pool and relaxed peaceful atmosphere,eating outside and the endless sunshine.

Got Back Saturday and into work today, boo.

Had a fantastic time in the Villa perfect for the Kids spent alot of time in the pool, AlHaurin El Grande is a lovely place and we played the AlHaurin Golf Course (Seve Ballesteros designed) spectacular views.
I will recommend the villa to my friends as the location is perfect for a family.

Eight of us had a really special holiday at your Villa.
Two children & six adults.
The men enjoyed the local golf courses.
It was hard to get the kids out of the pool!
Your kitchen is so well equipped it made catering very easy.
We had some lazy nights and easily got take aways delivered.
We walked to the local town a few times it took about 20 minutes.

About the owners,

Jackie & Vincent bought villa Mariposa in 2000 when they were working in Spain and fell in love with the villa and surrounding area (as I'm sure you will, when you visit). They love the area and the way of life, and most of all the people. Sadly work has brought them back to Debyshire, in England, which now makes it possible for you to rent this very special place.

We lived at the villa for 7 years, this Villa is of such a high standard as it was our home, we are happy to rent our home, to you, so you can enjoy it as well.
