This pretty country house is set just outside the pueblo of Alhaurin El Grande in the foothills of the protected pine forests of the Sierra de Mijas mountains on 1500 sq metres of olive groves. There is no fitted oven but the owners have recently bought a halogen worktop oven, which is approximately the same size as big fryer - and it makes the most delicious roasts, cakes, .....everything a conventional oven does.
The house is set on one level, and has been tastefully furnished and decorated to a true andalusian countryside style. It has three double bedrooms with wardrobes, one bathroom and one shower room, an open fitted kitchen, a beautiful living area with beamed ceiling, SKY TV, DVD player. Outside there is 120m2 of terracing with sunbeds, pool, brick built BBQ, garden furniture. A little gem for a peaceful and relaxing family holiday.

The property is managed by local agents, who will be available to assist you during your stay, also to meet and greet you, handle the security deposit and check you out. They also offer airport runs, welcome packs and hire of extra beds, cots and highchairs.
The Andalucia / Malaga Province region
The Costa del Sol is one of the world's top tourist destinations. It enjoys more than 300 days of sunshine per year and a high average temperature all year round, as well as being protected from the cold winds. Winters are mild, spring and autumn are delightful, and summers are hot but freshened by a sea breeze. Another advantage of the area is the warm average temperature of the sea water, which ranges from 15 to 16 degrees in the winter months and around 20 degrees centigrade in summer. It is not unreasonable to assert, therefore, that the Costa del Sol has the best climate in Europe.
What is more, in this region you have the unique opportunity during the winter months to sunbathe on the beaches of the Mediterranean, and within two hours to be skiing on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada near Granada.
The Alhaurin El Grande area
The historic town of Alhaurin el Grande can claim true history dating back past Roman times. The town has everything that you will need for your holiday, many supermarkets offering both local and international goods, numerous restaurants, bars, take aways and ice cream shops for the times you don't want to be by the pool or having a BBQ!
Every year in the month of May, Alhaurin el Grande enjoys the local feria, where the locals dress up in their famous flamenco dresses, ride their horses and party all day long for 5 days. The feria also offers rides and entertainment for the children. The great roads, easy connections to the neighbouring towns ,villages and beaches and there really isn´t anything that can go wrong!

Following signs from Malaga airport to Alhaurin el Grande, via the Coin road, you will find the property half way between Alhaurin de la Torre and Alhaurin el Grande, tucked away on a 1500 meter plot with breathtaking views and no neighbours!
